There's nothing about this case that's funny, but I realized today that Juan Martinez reminds me of my favorite TV sit-com character, Sheldon, the nerdy but brilliant physicist in The Big Bang Theory, who has awkward interpersonal skills, but remembers everything that's ever been said to him since the day he was born. Martinez's IQ has got to be off the scale; I am truly awed by him.

My uncle will be saying a special mass for Travis and his family this Sunday. (My uncle has a direct connection to God.)

Hopefully dodged a bullet today. Orlando Sentinel had a blurb stating that jury notices had gone out in Seminole County for the Zimmerman trial with the summons date being 6/11. Went to get the mail today (seminole county) and lo and behold there is a jury summons with my name on it with a date of 6/10. I'm pretty sure that being trial aware would keep me off of a criminal jury--not so sure about a civil one.
