Vivian, true confession, I also watched "I Love New York".

Did not know David Otungua was a contestant!

Nommy. Love me some David Otunga.

I admit to really liking that show- Chance and Real were hilarious. Too bad about what's going on with Real.

Hey Chester, thank goodness I'm not all alone in the confessional! So I'm assuming that, like me, you also watched Flavor of Love? Mr. M really got a kick out of Flavor Flav.

I can't remember if David Otunga was on the first or second season of the show, but I do remember wondering what a Harvard-educated lawyer was doing on it! Maybe I should have been wondering why I was watching it... oh well, it was a fun show and I thought my girl New York was hysterical!

Okay, this is good, another New York fan! I cannot believe you brought up Real and Chance because I thought of them last night and how funny they were - so what's going on with Real???

My youngest sister would roll her eyes and seriously question my sanity when I'd try to talk her into watching my girl New York (as I would call her) - she didn't get the comedic role she was playing. I think with the right people behind her, New York could have developed into quite a comedienne. I wonder what she's up to now?

I did watch Flavor of Love, Vivian. Sigh.

And what was that show were all those D-List celebs shared a house in LA? No, not Celebrity Rehab (which I also watched). The one where Flav and Bridgette got very close? *cough*

I really ended up liking them both, and was very glad she got cleaned up later on Celeb Rehab.

Yes, I do scrape the bottom of the barrel with my TV viewing. Does my PBS "Call the Midwife" viewing provide any mitigation?

hee

Oh, make room at the bottom of that barrel for me, because I watched all those shows too! It was Surreal Life where Flav and Brigitte met. What did she call him - foofy foo?

As for mitigating circumstances, well I'd be happy to testify on your behalf if you'll do the same for me. Does our good taste in music count???

Yes, I think Vivian our musical taste surely makes up for our viewing taste.

Can't remember if we've had any Alison Moyet, but here's one for my dull dull day here. Hoping the sun comes back soon!

Thank you cubbee! I love Carol King. This was the first album I bought. I saved my babysitting money to get a record player from Montomery Ward just so I could get this record.

:)

Good memories.

Dear fragrant Squirrel,

How was your road trip? Did you run out of gas? Lose your cell phone charger? Burn the floor mats? Spill 'Kool Aid' on the seats?

Inquiring minds want to know how one avoids these pitfalls of roadtrips.

Whew, what a week. I had to have a few Jodi-free days because I was crying at everything, talk about menopause overload! The sadness was overwhelming and just thinking about what the Alexanders still have ahead of them was too much for me.

Today, I just want to post happy, fun songs for all of us who need them. No innuendo intended. Enjoy my friends.

Sounds like a great plan, womanfish! Here's a song I posted before but it's very uplifting and there's never too much Luther, in my world:

p.s. glad to see you back with your songs - where's our buddy YESorNO??? Hope she's okay.

womanfish, I did NOT know that Gregory Hines could sing! He was such a doll - I crushed on him too and especially loved him on "Will & Grace" - another talent gone way too soon.

I happen to love tap dancing most of all, wish I could do it - tried a couple of times but it was a total failure. Here's my all-time favorite tap dancer, love everything about this clip - her clothes, the house, the DOG!
