Howdy  Well, rare treat for us tonight, actually went out to a movie, lol. Saw The Conjuring, Yes, I'm a horror fan as long as it's not blood and gore, :giggle:

A good movie if you like that kind of thing, which I do. It was quite scary and suspenseful enough, about a family that moved into an old house with a demon inhabiting it, :scared::scared::scared:, nothing that a good excorcism can't take care of though, right? Oh, and a couple of ghosts :ghost: as well.

Hahaha, I bet I know what ya'll are thinking, but it was actually a well made movie, not cheezy, at least imo, and has had quite good reviews. Also, the setting was very atmospheric and scenic, old house in Rhode Island, situated by a swampy looking lake with huge, spooky, old trees, just the kind of thing I like, lol. Hey, gotta get in the Halloween spirit guys! :scared: Starring, was one Vera Farmiga, from the Bates Motel tv series.

Anyway, just wanted to check in and say hi. And to let the monster CMJA know that, no, we are not forgetting, we are still on it. We are on a vigil, watching, and waiting for Justice for Travis.

I wish I could sleep until noon. My body clock just won't let me. I think the latest I have slept this summer is 9.00 and that was only once. I am usually up between 7 and 8. That is going to have to change if I get the job. I will also have to stop going to bed at midnight or later. Of course, if I am working all day I will probably be to tired to stay up that late.
Lately, in the morning I do not want to open my eyes because they are just so itchy from allergies.

I work full time but I get a second wind around 11:00. I get too bed in the early hours; thus, I cannot get up and late for work.

Jackson verdict is in:

AEG did hire Dr. Murray - Dr. Murray is not negligent in Michael's death

Dr. Murray was not incompetent.

Jackson family will NOT receive $$
WooHOO!!! Take that you vultures Katherine & Jackson family!!! You fostered him becoming a drug addict and child molester and try to blame everyone else for Michael's problems but himself. You're just upset that the gravy train ended!! That is IMO!!!:moo::moo::moo:

Josie, what's wrong?

I am feeling more positive today. Seeing Steven Alexander's post last night made me feel a lot better, especially with pictures on his FB page showing him smiling and more relaxed. Both he and Tanisha have posted their steadfast position on the death penalty "No Deal" and will be in court on 10/24 for the settlement hearing. Juan has told them that it is important for them to be present.

Just knowing how CMJA will feel about them being present gives me a sense of satisfaction. Now that she has been convicted, I sense a change in who has the power and that is Travis's family.
Since I've been away from this forum for awhile, what is the "settlement hearing"? Doesn't Jodi still have to have a penalty phase? When does that happen???

When I can sleep late, I sleep to noon. For 30 years I got up early. I am late for work everyday and I used to be so punctual.

Kensie, my thoughts are with you. I got up really early for 30 or so years myself. First it was to be at clinicals before 7 a.m. and it was an hour drive. Plus I was a student and never got to sleep anyway, lol. After that, it was to be at the hospital for the early morning shift, at least that was just a 30 minute drive. And just let me say that I am. not. a. morning. person.

Seriously, I wake up in the morning, and just pull the covers over my head,, and ignore my hubby because I DO NOT, and I repeat, I DO NOT have any desire to talk about anything if it's early in the morning. He, on the other hand, will talk constantly from the minute he gets up, he's totally like the Energizer Bunny :scared:

Unfortunately, unlike him who is snoring before his head hits the pillow every night, I have chronic insomnia, stay up late, or wake up all hours of the night unable to sleep. Looking back, I wonder how I did it back then, except for one thing... I was younger, lol. I could get by on much less sleep , now, I couldn't do it.

Well, hello Spellbound, I don't remember seeing you here before. Maybe a Welcome is in order? :welcome:

Are you trying to take over my official position of the sidebar greeter? :floorlaugh:

Have you had your thyroid checked? That turned out to be my problem.

That is a good point, the bad thing is that Dr's don't want to treat for low thyroid unless it is "clinically" low by their definition of what clinically low is. In today's world, however, many of us are suffering from an iodine deficiency which in turn impairs our thyroid function.

I'm so glad you brought this up because I just realized how tired I've been since I stopped taking my iodine supplement. It was several months ago, so I'm back on it as of right now. :)

Actually, here's a link for anyone interested in information on iodine deficiencies.

Im fine, think it's just early mornings catching up with me. To say I am not a morning person would be the understatement of the century.

Hi Josie, I am not a morning person either. My biggest problem is insomnia. I'm up now with no reason to be. I think I feel dragged out too because of winter coming. I hate winter! all the snow ugh, we get a lot. I sure hope this bag of carps' trial gets moving. She thinks she is smart managing to put off prison. It is inevitable. Truthfully AZ. has spent so much already on a crime we know she committed. Why waste more, just lock her up and toss the key!!I so want to see her when they finally lock her paws for the trip to Perryville.:scared: her rotten bones to be forgotten.:stormingmad: Take care.

im alive and kicking, slept for 10 hours and i still couldn't get out of bed :floorlaugh: i seem to function better on 4hours or less sleep than i do with more

i hear you on that. my 10 month old is an early bird. no matter what time he goes to bed, he's up at 5 30 or 6 every morning. i keep telling myself that when i go back to work part time in a few weeks i will be thankful for that because it will give me more time to get both kids ready, etc, but right now it's difficult bc i am not a morning person at all. to make matters worse, my husband works the graveyard shift with the police (he says he does it bc of all the overtime for court and stuff) and so my son is used to getting up as soon as he gets home, so i don't really see his sleep pattern changing anytime soon

About who has the power..exactly. The ex-waitress is a convicted murderer who will never leave prison alive. Not even her notoriety as a vicious psycho lives on, except for a few places such as here. She has been returned to the black hole of the nobody she always was and will be.

The only curiosity I have about her now is whether or not she is being held in the 23 hour extreme lockup she deserves.

re bold - actually their gravy train has NOT stopped... MJ is making more money now that he is dead... :scared: So I wouldn't worry about them (all) going into poverty, unless of course Michael's kids cut them out...

Actually I did get it checked and take medicine for it. I have the hypo thryroid problem. Maybe the medicine is not working the way it should.
Someone told me that the medicine makes you feel like you are on speed -
not for me- I am still sluggish.

Travis lives on in the minds of the people who love him and those who have come to love him (like people here at WS).
He is dead, but not forgotten and will only be forgotten when all the people who know and have come to know him, are they themselves dead (but he will always be remembered on social media because missy :jail: murdered him).
My mother is dead and only a handful of people remember her and when we die, only God will remember her (if you believe in God).

From this self professed one who wakes with the sunrise, you peeps come to life way too late at night for me!

I wanna play with my friends, but you stay up past my :bedtime:

I went to various drs for years and they would always tell me nothing was wrong, so I finally went to an endocrinologist who did thyroid antibody tests. Come to find out I have Hashimotos Thyroiditis, an auto immune disorder. What a difference to be correctly medicated.
