Poor Travis did not deserve what The killer did to him. She is totally disgusting.

Good Morning Yes/No.

The Court is advised there is a hearing scheduled before the presiding criminal judge on an unrelated matter and a portion of the transcript of the hearing conducted on January 13, 2014 is needed for that hearing. At the Court’s request, the court reporter has transcribed the portion of the hearing which is needed by the presiding criminal judge. Good cause appearing,

IT IS ORDERED unsealing the portion of the hearing conducted on January 13, 2014 which has been transcribed by the court reporter.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Care to speculate on the "unrelated matter"?

Recording and streaming of trial coverage in/from the courtroom, perhaps?

What, exactly, is JSKS' definition of "unrelated" given that the "matter" requires reference to -- and unsealing of -- portions of this case's hearing transcript?

Wee Bonnie Baker and the Andrews Sisters both recorded versions in 1939.

But it was actually composed by Abe Olman and recorded on wax cylinder in 1917 by the Premier Quartet.

The song lyrics and arrangements changed between 1917 and 1939, and again during wartime.

Bet you've never heard this original version:

KCL has a blog called "To Innocence" where she writes on various topics. Today's blog is about strength and includes wonderful accolades about the generous people here at WebSleuths. If you have a chance, google "To Innocence" and read it at your leisure. There are a lot of very kind people on this site and I feel lucky to be amongst you.

Hi Truth Detector. I hadn't heard that version before. Did you ever hear "Celery Stalks At Midnight?". that is an oldie, so is "Wish I could Shimmy Like My Sister Kate". I had that one (from MIL ) but I broke it when moving! I can remember walking down the street to grammas singing "Elmers Tune .I know I was 9 yrs..
So many memories.:tears::seeya: ps. cleveland 10th coldest city in USA!!

The weather here is changing as we speak. The wind has really picked up and the temp is dropping. Tomorrow we are expected to have an overnight temp of 7 and a high of 16. It will feel like -10 to -20 below 0 tomorrow in the Philadelphia area. I wish I had fur pajamas. I guess I will be sleeping with a coat on or a 190 pound dog "coat". :)

Indeed: "Celery Stalks at Midnight" = A young Doris Day and Les Brown 1946

How about the 1947 movie version of Betty Grable 'shimmying' like Sister Kate?

The two versions I'm thinking of were way before that. I first heard them about 1940 but they were old, could tell by the music. I love all the old songs. I played a lot last night from the 40's. I love Glenn Miller music! I love the songs by Louie Armstrong, especially What a Wonderful World. Oh, Johnny Mathias, Who can forget Englebert Humperdinck? :loveyou: See~ Jodi misses out on anything like this. Seems trivial to us but she has no access! HLN started some sort of program dealing with crimes. I caught part of it today, mentioned all our favorites.LOL. Maybe HLN caught on. Think they went down with a :thud:. :seeya:

Evening gramma Nore :seeya:

I just love this song from Engelbert:

Engelbert Humperdinck - The Last Waltz (1967) - YouTube

Thanks for the advice given (from everyone who gave advice) about my frozen faucet.
Gramma's advice about waiting for the warmer weather is just what happened. When the thermo. hit 20 degrees, the faucet started running again. I couldn't get under the house to heat up the pipes, so waiting is what I did.

YoNo, I am so glad Frasier is back on. I missed it so when the 1800496782 Christmas movies played on Lifetime. It is so nice to laugh!

Me too. It's such a funny show.
Wonder why I can watch it all the time- I mean, I've seen all the episodes a zillion times???

I sometimes watch The Golden Girls after Frasier (if I can't sleep).

BBM ~ The Golden Girls and Three's Company are my all time favorite TV sitcoms!

Is anyone else feeling moody today? :hypno:

I'm hoping it's just the weather. It's seems like it's been dark and foggy for eons.

The days are finally getting longer. It does not get dark until 5:30.

Forgot to tell everyone, I have a grandbaby that is 3 today.

How lucky you are Kensie.

I probably won't see grandchildren.

Spring will be here before we know it. :spring:

But in the meantime :snowball:
