I sit in the shower... on a shower stool. How else am I going to shave my legs without breaking my neck? LMAO! :floorlaugh:

I wish I had a bigger shower that could accommodate a tile sitting shelf. It is on my bucket list!

I have one of those (not tile), but I don't sit on it. I put my leg up on it to shave. If I'm in a shower without one, I've been known to sit on the floor :)

Well, we sure had an exciting night, last night...

The houses next door and one over burned!!! :scared: :scared: It happened as I was going to sleep; I noticed that the neighbors sure had some BRIGHT lights on in the backyard! And then I heard sirens!! And then my Huz says "FIRE"!!! Threw my clothes back on and went outside. WOW!! Huge flames coming from the house next door!! My Huz had a hose ready just in case the fire jumped into our yard and onto our house!!! :scared: :scared: It turns out that the house 2 doors down (a rehab house) - the fire started there in the kitchen and jumped to the house next to ours - just BOOM - the whole back porch went up in flames!! A few things exploded - don't know 'what' that was! The space between those houses is quite smaller than what is between us and our neighbors! 5 feet vs 15 feet! I thought the trees between our houses were going to go up in flames! But all the firemen (6 engines) put it out with no problems and NO damage to our house. Everyone got out - at least the house next door - don't know about the rehab house - didn't realize it had so much damage until I saw it this morning! The Fire Chief was there this morning when I went to get my newspaper and walked next door - and he asked ME - what I thought happened!! LOL! Like I would know! LOL! The firemen - two engines - showed up this morning and one is still here, with the P.G.&E guys (gas & electric). The front of the house next door doesn't look too bad, but the whole back is all burned out! The house 2 doors down is gone too!

I found out I will have my hip replacement surgery March 25th!!! I've shown my Huz this thread, so he can post JUST in case something happens! I'll be in the hospital for 3 days, don't know if they have Wi-Fi, so I can use my laptop there, but will find out!

Well, hope all is well with everyone - now I'll go back and read what you all posted last night and this morning!!

The Love Letters song reminded me of the 1945 movie Love Letters with Joseph Cotton and Jennifer Jones.
Anyone see it?

I found it on YTube (it's not on DVD- I know, I tried finding it).

- Gli amanti del sogno (Love Letters) 1945 Cotten Joseph - Jones Jennifer - - YouTube

(a good movie to wile away a Winter night- unfortunately, I can't watch it- uses too much band :banghead: )

----------
Hi YesorNo, I saw it! I loved Jennifer in all her movies. Joseph Cotten was a good actor. "Sunday Dinner for a Soldier", so many good ones.:seeya:

While checking my email, I noticed this news:

"As of Monday, the county had paid $2,150,536.42 for her court-appointed attorneys, expert witnesses and other costs associated with her case, Maricopa County spokeswoman Cari Gerchick told The Associated Press.

Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery has refused to provide a tally of how much it has cost to prosecute the case, citing a court order that attorneys not discuss Arias-related matters."

I feel sorry for the Arizona residents who have to pay for The Killers :jail: trial.
Wonder how much the penalty phase retrial will cost?

-----------
YesorNo, I heard that too. I was fuming!! they could have sent every kid in AZ. to DisneyLand!! that is soooo much money! especially since we knew she did it! what a crime..I am really PO'd and I dont even live there. This next phase should be more cut and dried. She is probably LOL all the way! LOL to the death chamber ..:banghead::banghead:

I saw that on Foxnews. I guess the moral of the story is, if you get arrested for murder, don't have any assets. If you have assets, your family will be financially drained, if you don't have assets, others that have no choice will be drained ( the tax payers). Totally disgusting. IMO, this circus of a trial should have been over 10 months ago. Please don't put me in time out.

I agree. That is spending good money after bad.:tantrum:

KCL has a blog called "To Innocence" where she writes on various topics. Today's blog is about strength and includes wonderful accolades about the generous people here at WebSleuths. If you have a chance, google "To Innocence" and read it at your leisure. There are a lot of very kind people on this site and I feel lucky to be amongst you.

We are allowed to post her link. Here it is:

And I agree, who cares if that murderer in Ohio suffered for 10 minutes on his death meds while the state gave him a soft kill anyway. His victim and her unborn child suffered horribly! :banghead:

Totally agree! The killers :jail: should all die like their victims did, I say! :banghead: I hear Utah is going back to the electric chair! Wonder what the hold up is for all those 600 plus in San Quentin!! :banghead:

No wonder why this trial is dragging out and costing WAY too much.

IMO, the DT will not be successful with this motion.

What i'd to see is a motion to allow media for this circus and get the sentencing over with and Jodi gone to Perryville. :jail:

It's sleeting now - we're in for a bad storm. I shall be playing in snow tomorrow.

If some of your friends in these parts disappear, they likely lost power, including me. FYI :) (AL, GA, SC, NC, VA, etc.)

I sleep with 3 dogs. I have to contort around them.

"A three dog night"!

I just read how the group Three Dog Night got their name. (I am probably the last to know!)

Three Dog Night - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Band name origin

The official commentary included in the CD set Celebrate: The Three Dog Night Story, 1964–1975 states that vocalist Danny Hutton's then-girlfriend June Fairchild suggested the name after reading a magazine article about indigenous Australians, in which it was explained that on cold nights they would customarily sleep in a hole in the ground whilst embracing a dingo, a native species of wild dog. On colder nights they would sleep with two dogs and if the night were freezing, it was a "three dog night".[1]
