In the Ken Hoffman interview of Arias, scroll down to the statement, "I stuck to her art". Four paragraphs on, she talks about a time "before I derailed my life" and then "not connected to the deeply regrettable things I've done." As I said, this is a tone I've not heard her take until now, when she has learned remorse is considered in doling out mercy. She still has not made the stretch to remorse on behalf of the victim but she now owns that she has harmed herself.

Picture of her Royal Fatness.....unless she pulls a fast one on Aug 10, I'm hedging my bets she's going to foal Sept 9. First foals are so unpredictable, and her heat cycles were pretty goofy last year.
Compare to the lean, mean, speed machine from last year:

I noticed that as well, seems that is her self-chosen mitigator, overwhelming remorse for the pain and harm that her slashing of Travis has caused her.

It's like a fall weekend.... windows open, fall quilt on the bed, and the smell of briskets, baby backs and hot links in the smoke has filled the air instead of a fireplace.

Our granddaughter ( I tell her she's my favorite, and she points out that she is my only grand daughter) is here for three weeks, and her Da always does ribs for her, and I get to take her shopping new clothes for school, get her hair cut and highlighted, and a mani pedi before she goes back on the eleventh.

Ken Hoffman knew what to do in terms of interviewing her, and he points out that she is making money selling her murderabilia. His article shows how he used flattery to gain her attention, and it also illustrates her as the moral imbecile that she is.

He's a very good journalist, I really miss his columns now that I don't take the paper daily. He also does a Pet of the Week column in the Sunday paper that features an adoptable dog (along with other short and sometimes hilarious subjects), he's the only reason I read the Zest section. lol

Question: If JA is helping to support her family with the sale of her art wouldn't that disqualify them as witnesses if defense decided to call them?

I am still hanging around this forum to. Posting from the phone stinks. I got a new laptop but that won't be hooked up for a while. Long story and did not need it but it is better than my e machine that is going on 5 years. I will be here during the retrial also but from work and in the evenings. Would be nice of it were televised. Summer here has been odd. Only a few hot days and it has been breezy all summer. The leaves are already changing. Dreading winter. I hope it isn't as bad as last year. Anyone have a predicted winter forecast for New England?

Why would that disqualify them? I've never heard of anything like that before.

She could be using it as a "bribe". "You support me at trial and I will give you money from my art sales". Would not put anything past Missy, but I also don't know the legalities of this one.

Pages, love the words to the song. Greater is He that is in me than he who is in the world. Amen.

Lamb Chop,
I made a couple of long posts, and a message keeps saying they are too short, under five characters. I gave up.

If JA is paying her family it would give the appearance of paying them to give testimony on her behalf. It may not make a difference because this trial is for sentencing but I do not see it not being mentioned during questioning. The family did not testify during her trial so it would be something that would stand out like sore thumb. Example if she uses for mitigation purposes that the reason for selling her art was that it was to be donated to a charity and out of a $1,000 only $10 was donated to the charity with the rest going to her family, this would not set well with a jury. I know it would set my hinky meter way off. jmo

If you quoted a post you may have put your text within the quoted area. I've done that myself. Make sure if you have quoted a post you go all the way down past the "quote" portion of the post. Under five characters tells us it was not posted outside the quote marks.

Hi LambChop, thank you. These were actually two new posts where I asked questions and posted a theory. They were ech about a paragraph and it said they were too short. Any ideas?
