I pray JSS didn't allow Nurmi off the case. If he left that isn't a good sign. JA asked for Strumpff at last hearing and I looked her up on Google. This was all a ploy as I suspected. A delay tactic.

Motion to Continue trial will be heard on Aug 22 at 1:30 pm. #JodiArias
Motion to continue trial? Are they thinking of a delay now? WTH?

Why does Nurmi want to stay on this case? Don't get it. Or maybe he wants off and JSS won't let him?

He does not. He has been asking off the case since 2011.

He does want off and JSS has wanted him to stay, Jen has his motion to be let off posted on her site, someone linked the pages here a couple pages back.

He doesn't. He wrote an expansive motion to be relieved. In that he states Arias wants him off the case and he has long wanted off. JSS promised no more delays. This is bad.

James Aiken

"He serves as a consultant to attorneys and as an expert witness in civil and death penalty cases.[1] He has served as an expert witness on prison conditions and future inmate dangerousness at U.S. Federal Courts in multiple jurisdictions"

Yes this is bad. But it has been bad since the day we all heard a young man was slaughtered in his home and then we found out it was a former girlfriend...or bed buddy, whichever you prefer. If trial is delayed then it has become a joke. I am waiting till next court date to see but I suspect JSS is caving in to the killers demands much as I suspected she would. Or at least that was my opinion during the entire first trial. Many disagree with me about that. It is only my opinion. To say she has been fair was pushing the envelope for me. No trial should go on for this long. And attorneys should be required to finish the case. And the killer should now be easily read by all.

I don't understand this judge once again agreeing to a delay when she clearly said she would not. Once again this witch JA gets what she wants.:gaah:

So reading about James Aiken, he testifies about how dangerous prison is. Well that's it. Lets all have a pity party. JA shouldn't go to prison because she might be in danger? I tend to think those hands of hers would put others in danger. We can fix that. Put her on death row.

James Aiken, a prison management and inmate adjustment consulting expert

"...Williford's defense attorneys also called a prison management and inmate adjustment consulting expert who examined Williford's record behind bars while awaiting trial.

James Aiken said he considered Williford an "unusual risk" within the prison system.

"I am concerned he will be a victim," Aiken said.

He said on a scale of one to 10, he thought Williford was a negative-one for being a predator in homosexual encounters while in prison.

He said Williford adjusted well to prison life since his 2010 arrest....

...Aiken added that Williford could be contained in prison without causing harm to others.

"He can be adequately managed and secured in a prison environment for the remainder of his life," he told the jury....

Well either way she will be in prison...not sure how this will help? Yeah its dangerous but not serving time is not one of the options now

I hope and pray JSS doesn't give into the convicted murderer demand. This isn't let's make a deal, if he is released I will give up the podium oh but I want so and so on my team.

As far as I know the convicted murderer didn't qualify any of those demands when she requested to represent herself.

Nurmi needs to see this thru and the convicted murderer needs to just deal with it.

Another form of Manipulation by the convicted murderer. Mr. Martinez said in his closing she would continue to Manipulate and she has.
