Amazing how animals know -

I think she knew something wasn't quite right and was asking Walter for help.

Walter was trying to help, but couldn't - I think that's why the zoo/vet had to step in to help.

With Walter eating maybe that's a good sign (thanks steely)

From the view i had, it was most def. breech, and i don't know enough about giraffe births, but breech horse is much tougher and vet or someone usually has to get involved. They would move the camera off her, or at least not make it live, until they know what they have to do. We may get footage afterwards but since it could involve emergency measures, don't want that on camera. Just fingers crossed they get baby out quickly. Thats the key. C'mon Autumn... you can do it!

Well as my friend the midwife constantly posts for these late nighters.... 'Here Baby, baby baby' c'mon out and play. Here baby, baby baby" Works for her sometimes. Then she gets a rush of deliveries over the following few days/nights.

Per FB post, Joe from Fox Carolina news says he's at the zoo and they don't have any updates for him yet nor said why the camera is on Walter.

All I can find online is reports saying the cam will bring live coverage of the birth. So it sounds like that was the plan.
