The convicted murderer was granted to represent herself on the 4th of August. IIRC she requested evidence, but I don't recall her indicating any witnesses at that time.

Per her motion dated 7th of August her expert was at the jail on the 6th of August before 08:00am.

Between the 4th and the 6th did the convicted murderer submit her witness list?

The brief statement I heard from the Sheriff Arpaio she hadn't handed it in for approval.

Sounds to me that the convicted murderer missed a step or she wasn't advised properly by her staff. LOL

I sure hope JSS doesn't grant this delay it will really make her look foolish. JMHO

I agree with your assessment but I still think JSS will give in. I do not believe for a second that JA had no control over meeting with her witness but she is claiming that, and if no one from MCSO comes forward with evidence to the contrary I think the judge will buy JA's claim. I hope it is not going to be a full three weeks but honestly, it could actually end up being longer because once this is granted there will be something else come up that will necessitate another continuance and it will just mushroom from there. Even though JSS tried to sound tough with her "no delays" warning, I will be very surprised if she follows through.

JA now has freedom to make many calls. I know the jail cannot listen to the calls because the calls pertain to her case. However, how do they know the calls being made are not just fun, or to sell more items, or for her friend to post news.

Are the numbers recorded to least and spot checks done? I don't trust her ...JMO

I think what JA was saying in the motion is that this person's identity is under seal, so some special procedure was put in place and approved by the judge, but the deputy was insisting on following the normal procedure instead. If that's true (a big IF when you are dealing with JA), there is a decent possibility this will get continued. But I think the judge will first see if there's any way to expedite dealing with this expert in order to keep the trial date.

I've been baby watching and Autumn has been acting strange. She's holding her tail up slightly away from her body and has been backing up into the corner, close to Walter. He's on duty staying close, rubbing necks together and inspecting her lady parts. No sign of labor that I can tell but her tootie is getting larger.

Update: She's sitting on the ground now resting, and occasionally tending to her lady parts.

I read where they sleep for 10 minutes or so at a time ... standing. She seems to get in positions where that bright light isn't on her face.
