Wonder if the witness wasn't reached by phone. Wonder why it is a female when I thought all along it was the male who specializes in how folks are treated in prison, Aiken I think was his name. I wonder why no hearing on the 22nd? Most of all....I wonder if JSS was angry and I wonder if JA threw in the towel and will go back to the real attorneys representing her. Oh well.

Hoping the witness WAS reached by phone. Arias was supposed to insure that. I was thinking the time while the courtroom was closed was lengthy, as in a phone conversation took place. Yes, Judge Stephens may well be angry at what she heard.

I am betting on Jodi throwing in the towel because some procedure was not followed and JSS told her to get it together and the 22nd was cancelled for the killer to confer with her co counsel. Guess I am wishing.

It is interesting, though, that there's no word about any future hearing. Nothing. Usually reporters can obtain that information. Why not this time?

Curious, we got word (and I read it elsewhere) that Aug. 22 was vacated before the hearing opened today. So we will get a ruling based on what occurred in that courtroom this morning, in addition to the written motion, of course.

If 'a person' is standing in the hall our side of the court room, can raised voices, yelling, or any noise other then a regular talking voice, be heard in the hallway?

From what I remember of court rooms in Wichita, Kansas and Chicago, Illinois, loud noises can be heard.

Wondering if anyone 'out in the hall' heard anything to indicate who was mad.
