Yes, that's right. Thank you!You are thinking of Jill Hayes. She was the last psychologist to testify--lovely southern accent, very competent. Licensed in Louisiana and Arizona.

Hi AZ. If she doesn't give Juan the list can the Judge disallow the witnesses? I mean no one can do this.:notgood:
I never understood the 'battered woman' defense. Jodi ALWAYS went to Travis. Drove for hours to get there. He NEVER went to her.
Janx, it was for her PI to visit the "crime scene". The following is from the court's minute entry of the 8/20 hearing:YorN, I'm not sure that anyone went to that house. It could be that she wants the P.I. to go over evidence that was used in her guilty phase. This "going to the house" idea might well be an internet rumor based on some typo. At least that's my guess. People really ran with it.
It's pretty obvious that she's going to try and revisit the guilt portion of the trial. Don't think she'll get very far. She has been found guilty.
Thanks for posting those tweets yesterday. I had a busy day at work and looked in when I could. :seeya:
Defendant requests that the State set a date and time certain for her Investigator to observe the crime scene. The Prosecutor will contact his case agent immediately following this hearing to schedule a date and time certain, on or before August 28, as requested by Defendant.
JM is interviewing JA's expert witness today, and that expert is also reviewing exhibits while there at JA's request. May be a psychologist because JM also asked for the expert's raw data so he can submit it to Dr. DeMarte . There is evidently also a closed hearing, might be a follow up to JSS's order for JA to hand over the witness list? I think these interviews are scheduled for either the jail or the courtroom because the defendant is entitled to be there for them. The next hearing is on the 15th, IIRC. There was a Case Management Conf. scheduled for the 4th, but not sure if it's still on or happened yesterday. It is confusing but don't take my word for any it, I'm just trying to get it straight tooThere's supposed to be a witness interviewed today (the one that was postponed yesterday). I have no idea what that means. Is this witness being questioned under oath in the courtroom or what exactly? I was really confused by a tweet yesterday, can't remember who from, who thought today's hearing might be "live." I wonder if they meant that it might be open to the press.
So maybe there is an interview going on but it's closed to the press/public. That's all I can figure.
she thinks she is going to have a retrial and will be found innocent....she does not get it that she was found guilty in the first trial and the second trial is for sentencing....
"...The State is not objecting to cameras in the courtroom for this re-trial, however, Jodi objected stating, "There is more damage that can be done."..."

Her team has had good success in shrouding the contents of this hard drive in secrecy, there must have been good reason for that, whatever is on it she seems to think could help her and they believed it would hurt her, imo. I do think she's trying to retry the guilt phase, heck, if there's doubt about her guilt how could they levy the death penalty? lol Wasn't that pic of the man's organ pulled from this hard drive or is my memory of the details getting worse?
That was from Gus's helio phone. You know the one that she dunked in hot chocolate and was found later in her aunts truck? IIRC
Still think the mans "organ" belonged to Darryl Brewer. That was from Gus's helio phone. You know the one that she dunked in hot chocolate and was found later in her aunts truck? IIRC
Is this going to have any live feed? First there was none then there was 1/2 hour delay...is the hearing live? Will the DP phase be covered? :jail:
Today's hearing mostly concerned "housekeeping" matters for the trial. Juan Martinez complained that Arias has not yet provided him with the addresses and contacts for some of her witnesses. Arias replied that she didn't have the addresses and would have to get them from her advising attorneys, Kirk Nurmi and Jennifer Willmott.
But then Arias noted that Martinez had not listed all of his witnesses, either, to which he replied that he could not do so until he had spoken to hers.
Arias said her witnesses didn't want to be interviewed by the State because of the manner in which Martinez 'handles them'.
She also said she didn't want Martinez or Det. Flores to contact her witnesses prior to their interview.
The court wants all witnesses interviewed by Sept 8.
Tomorrow's hearing is closed as witnesses will be present.
Further hearings this month:
Sept 4: Pre-trial hearing
Sept 15: 8:15a - Jury questionnaire to be discussed; 8:30a - camera motion to be ruled
Still think the mans "organ" belonged to Darryl Brewer.
Did they actually show this on TV??![]()
I missed it - so I'll take your word for it Curious in Indiana...![]()
--------------RBBM: :great: Good ... glad to hear this !!!
