Oh my goodness, it knew she would change her mind. I thought it would be closer to the trial date, but I am figuring the murderess is beginning to realize her number's up & it 's time to pay the piper. Reality setting in - right about now! Tired of the drama is correct! As is JSS, JM, the Alexander family, & everyone else. Maybe now she will realize that she's not that special AT ALL! I hope she is squirming in her cell right now. I don't think there will be any more delays, as she received almost a month playing her stupid game. I think she planned this as well... Too bad JA, the train is almost at the station. This is too ridiculous.

I think it was all a bluff. JA wanted Nurmi gone and she knew JSS would not set him free...I have little doubt JA played the OK-then-I-will-represent-myself card hoping to force JSS into doing her bidding.

Yep...and Nurmi can request delays on his other cases if he has any. There is no reason for him to always expect the Arias case to be the one that should be continued. JMO.

Never any doubt. it was just a threat. Jodi played Grown Up Lawyer for as long as it was fun, now she's bored and wants the professionals to take it from here.

Thank you so much for the update about the OP trial. Many of us here on WS follow multiple cases and that is one I am particularly interested in hearing the verdict. I may have to set my alarm too.

It's a beautiful thing, hearing that JSS is putting CMJA on a very very tight leash. No more delays.

Witnessing her talk her way into the DP would have been quite the show, but I am relieved for the Alexanders that she won't get the chance to openly mock them and the system.

I am relieved as well. Being entertained by JA and her shenanigans is not to be undermined but at the end of the day this whole thing is about penalizing a murderer for viciously killing a human being. I think the sooner that penalty can be administered--with the least amount of fanfare--the better for all, especially TA's loved ones.

But regardless of anything Travis may or may not have done, he was never even remotely a threat to Jodi's life and she had absolutely zero justification for savagely murdering him. How can anyone, a journalist no less, still be in any doubt about this?

Kiefer doesn't believe any such thing. His only concern, and the reason for everything he writes, is to remove the DP in AZ. If he paints JA as a poor misunderstood victim, then he hopes everyone will see what evil people the pro-DP people are. In addition to that, he despises JM for some reason - seems very personal though.
