Nothing special-I use the Aunt Jemina Buttermilk batter recipe on the box- yummy!

My son borrowed my Belgian waffle iron and has been experimenting. He took the canned cinnamon rolls and made waffles out of them. He's going to try french toast waffles this weekend.

My mil taught me to make crepes, and use jam or pudding in them. They are the bomb.

Don't you think the killer was absolutely flattened when she learned of Sheriff Joe's refusal to entertain the production of her version of events? Surely she put a lot of store by this opportunity. Her story, dramatically visual, directed at least in part from a jail cell and glamorized. To me, the whole notion was an outrage as it is an effort to present evidence favorable to her but unacceptable for her in-court defense. She strains every fiber to convert the public to her absurd status as victim. Outside of her band of fools, Jodi is Innocent, she knows all who follow the case are arrayed against her. That makes it hard to maintain that it is just rotten SOBs who are responsible for the verdict that came down on her.

i am taking my sweet daughter to lunch for her birthday. She will be 46. Two of her daughters are meeting us to surprise her. So I won't get home until court is over tomorrow. I will be looking forward to any links or updates you can post for us. Thanks YorN. Hope I come home to find out cameras will be allowed! Hope we get all the updates of all her shenanigans. She is getting sicker by the day selling those glasses of hers. She must now believe she is a rock star. Will this ever end?

This is funny, YorN, but I can't really blame the guy. It's one of those things that is a wild card factor on any jury, from what I've seen of this case. He did find her guilty of Murder 1, so he wasn't completely crazy. Maybe, in the end, he simply could not vote to sentence a young woman to death. And here again, we're up against the fact that she is a female.

I'm going to go off on a tangent; please bear with me. Jodi Arias was one of those young women who needed to find a husband, who seemed to have no sense of worth of herself as a person who should have her own education, interests, and self support. She was some kind of a throwback, IMO. This guy, too, seems to be a throwback. Women should have equal rights, and with this, they should have equal responsibilities--not to murder, for one thing. I simply cannot get past the fact that the defense had some kind of double standard at work. It was so sleazy, so pathetic.
