I'm so confused. So according to the DT, the state has has TA's laptop for 6 years, but according to the State, the DT has had it all this time.
So where was it really all this time?:thinking:
And the State is requesting a mirror copy of the hard drive to investigate the DT's claims of the porn being on the laptop, but the DT gave the State a copy of some guy Tony's hard drive. Then when the DT found out about their oopsie, they made copies of the files and gave that to the State, which couldn't really be investigated because they were just files copied so it was just a waste of time. Now the DT is appalled that the State can't investigate the copied files and is requesting JSS to dismis
I don't understand the point of all of this. If Travis did look at porn, who gives a flying flip? Were the sites child porn? That has never been specifically stated, and if it were indeed, child porn, we all would have heard about this 6 years ago. This just seems to be like another Hail Mary delay tactic to me.
The DT likes to chastise the State for not investigating this 6 years ago, but they seem to forgot that neither did they. :nono:

I am totally worthless right now, fuzzy sight and a weird head ache thing, The eye doc dilated my eyes.....grrrrr!
Bad news? 20/40 in one eye and 20/200 in the other, I have to wear glasses for just about everything........BOOOOOOOOOO, HISS, HISS!
But at least my eyes are "healthy", they're just getting "old". Pffffttttttt!

I was about 40 when I needed glasses, but only reading glasses then. What a pain that was. I could never remember where I left them to read. :facepalm:

You're right, it really doesn't matter at this point. That what tells me that the DT is grasping at straws to build a last-minute case. If this were really an issue, they would have use it in the 1st trial to pad the self defense claim.

KN had the witness read more verbatim messages and give her opinion on how TA used JA for sex to the point where she eventually snowballed into the day of the murder and she had, and I quote "psychological vomit" and killed him.
KN asked the witness if JA loved TA on the day she murdered him, witness said yes.

Defense questioning FINALLY ended and The State's turn.

JM started off asking if the witness knew the phone that the sex recording was on was reported stolen by JA. And that it appeared in the DT hands, so he asked if that indicates that JA lied. and if she lied about that, the possibilities of why she recorded it all are endless. And there's no record of TA giving consent to be recorded.

then he moved on to asking if the witness interviewed JA and watched the 48 hours interview. then witness mentioned she didn't have her notes. JM asked why she took notes, and she said to remember dates/times..etc and said she was asked to stop taking notes. JM asked and clarified that JSS, The State didn't tell her to stop, but the DT told her to stop the note taking.

JM moved on to the witness' testimony that JA withdrew when she was abused. JM brings out documents and has witness look them over. One was a document the DT gave her and one was the real document (documents not shown to court, so can only assume what it is). One thing was missing on the document provided to her from the DT. - when JA's father slapped her, she told him F U Bill. it was omitted by DT.

JM showed the witness a confidential document that she didn't review before. He asks her if it changed her view that TA felt like a piece of meat. she says her opinion remains the same. - no one in the court saw the document, but it was a document titled privileged & confidential. He showed her another document to indicate that JA went from boyfriend to boyfriend rather than having long, steady b/f's as indicated in witness' earlier testimony.

He showed messages between JA/TA about her kicking walls, being angry - to discredit the prior testimony that JA was basically a calm victim. Then he showed a message from her indicating how she waxed her girly bits in case she saw him and had the spiderman panties. Along with more texts about the schoolgirl outfit she was planning for the photo shoot. That was to discredit that TA was always the one to initiate sexual talk.

Court in recess until Monday.

Tomorrow at 10:30 am is the hearing on the motion to dismiss her case BS.
