Happy Thanksgiving (eve) everyone! I have to be up at the crack of dawn to drive 6 hours for our family celebration. I'm hoping the weather cooperates (it's been snowing here all day), because I cannot wait to stuff my face with turkey, potatoes and gravy, casseroles, pies, etc!

Something I've been thinking about the last few days...I was recently "dumped" by a guy I'd been dating for about 6 months. We'd been on trips together, met each other's friends and family, etc. Out of the blue he just decided he wasn't ready. He's been hanging out with some other females and, while feeling a little jealous, I've NEVER once thought about doing any of the crazy ***** JA did to TA. Whatever happened to self respect and dignity??

I'll bet Fonseca used the words "data point" because DeMarte uses them. This was a phrase that derailed the touchy feely ALV assessment. Demarte was all about "data points", facts, evidence, quantitative testing... The DT must have told Fonseca to use the words "data point" (I don't think she understood the phrase, either) to upstage Demarte's rebuttal testimony.

A foot of snow?? No thank you! It's just drizzling right now and should stop overnight, hopefully they'll get enough cleanup done before morning.

I think normal people realize (in time) after a breakup that things just weren't mean to be and they see the red flags they didn't see when they were in the relationship. JA was just relentless. Blows my mind.

Martinez is great with language, logic, and culture. If he has to characterize sexual behavior from his point of view, it'll be something like "masturbatory conduct," but if he's quoting the gutter speak of the defense or the convict, he'll serve it up just as the defense has served to the jury: in a very vulgar fashion. The convict and her defense attorneys brought it in, and Juan knows it and reiterates it. He is good at what he does.

Have you ever noticed when JM uses the clinical version of sex talk it makes JA seem more ridiculous than ever. Plus, it must pain her to know that someone like JM can do sex talk way better than JA can. JM gave a technical phrase with the word "penis" in it (I forget exactly what the question was) when questioning Fonseca, and he managed to say it in such a way that blush must have been leaking out of F's ears. The phrase, IIRC, was so clinical juxtaposed with JA's trite little sex talk, that it sounded laugh-my-butt-off hilarious.

Hahaha! I now read from the "13th Juror" that slasher-shooter-JA was in fact a podmate of hammer killer. After reading about Devault, it seems to me that the two killers helped each other with story lines: they are perversely similar.

Can I ask a weird question? This is probably dumb, but I'm not Mormon. I don't know any Mormons. This trial and a documentary about this woman who stalked a Mormon are the only things I really know about Mormons. So um what exactly is FHE? Is it like Bible Study for Baptists? Or Mass for Catholics? Or just a get together for Mormons?
