If all of Travis' friends believed it was JA who murdered him, why did Daniel Freeman visit her in jail. How was the murderer treated at Travis' memorial? AND WTH were the judge and lawyers laughing at, I wonder how Travis' family felt while all this was going on. This is one crazy crazy trial. I hope this is not how all trials are.

BBM: I REALLY don't think the Freemans where in the "loop", and when DF visited her around his brothers death, in jail, it was the "Ninja's did it" story. I believe DF inadvertently and unknowingly gave CMJA the idea of the "pedo story" (that she just filed away for future use) when he was sharing his brother's tragic death.

*didn't DF take JA to the Mesa PD when she was down for the Memorial in Arizona?

Just going to put it out there for those wondering about the lawyers and judge laughing:

Although we see very adversarial attitudes between all the parties during the trial, all the players *probably* have a good/decent "outside the courtroom" camaraderie. What they were laughing about probably had nothing to do with the case. But.........they probably should have adjourned first.

I've seen prosecutors and defense attorneys go through mutual cases like they were swapping Pokemon cards........"Hey, I'll let your defendant #A slide on the reckless endangerment if you give me your defendant #B on Man #1", "Make it Man #2 and you got a deal." This while having lunch, during a court break in the halls, or by speaker phone in their office while you sit with you attorney.

Are Martinez and Nurmi "friends" of any sort? Who knows..........

Question for our Lawyers

What happens if a prosecution lawyer, defense lawyer, or any one of the main characters of the two teams, the defendant gets ill. I can see a delay if it is the flu or severe cold etc., but if it is a major illness, what happens? Is the trial declared a mistrial and starts over?

Thanks in advance.

Also, the judge. What if she takes ill--maybe to the point where she would not be able to continue any of her cases. Is that a mistrial or is a new judge appointed to continue from where she left off?

Right, unless we know them personally we cannot know for sure, even though JM and KN would seem the ultimate odd couple to most. But then, it was floated that Judge Perry and Cheney Mason are very good friends, though they do not seem to be two peas in a pod.

JMO here, but Juror #3 needs to shut up--for the time being anyway.

BBM I was thinking that they might be, not friends, but respectful of each other outside of the courtroom- in a "I'm going to insult you..but don't get mad, it's just business" sort of way?

Probably 3 or 4 more. I wonder if juror #3 is getting paid for these interviews. Not saying Juror 3 is doing this, but some people will do anything for attention.

I just read a page in JA's journal today that she wrote AFTER she killed him. She wrote it while was staying with the Freeman family, either right before or after going to TA's memorial. It was in the retrial thread, but I don't have the energy to go and look for it now. This trial has wiped me out...I am addicted to it :tantrum: Now I'm so pi$$ed after today that I really need to stay away from it all for awhile, for my own sanity .....
See you guys tomorrow

PS Aaron Dewey also went to see her in jail. I don't get it.

I wish to dedicate this tune to the Websleuths Insomniac Society of which, sadly, I am not a member since I'm usually sawing zzzzs by 11 p.m. But you guys sure tear it up in the overnight hours! Always interesting reading the next morning for us early bird types. :)

(The sentencing trial seems to be having this effect on so many of us! How about some justice already? :()

Well, I laughed! But dark humor is my thing anyway.

But this poor jury....oh my. This really is above and beyond. My hat's off to them; hope they can tough it out.

So when it says judge and counsel, does that include Juan Martinez? I HATE not being able to see and hear everything myself.

"A video speculating how Jodi Arias will function and cope inside Perryville prison once transported and processed in her new destination. A destination that may be final or a journey of horror for a very long time. Regardless whether she gets life or death, she has a new playground and the rules are never fair. Her prettiness doesn't count and her life will be controlled by others rather than from within herself."

Good thing the jury is not sequestered!

For sure there would be a mistrial by now.

I guess I'm at the conclusion (if that's the right way to word it?)

Any and all attempts will be used to stall this trial by the defense.

YESorNO,
I have no idea how or where you find all the snippets - but Thank You :loveyou:
