If the PD has a copy of the HD before anyone touched the laptop, why can't someone compare that copy to the HD now to see what has been changed? Then they can just make a simple list of what items have been added/deleted from it with dates of the changes if available? Then, they could backtrack to see who had the computer during those times to know where to place the blame. Why didn't that happen here?

This whole hearing just seems so overly complicated and such a waste of time.

Jeepers creepers I could never be a defense attorney! I am way too efficient of a person to waste time and energy on bullcrap that delays getting things done. Having to delay things and waste time on purpose would be the 7th circle of hell for me. :scared:
