JSS sure is looking tired and a little haggard, too, IMO.

Appeals court: Jodi Arias testimony must be made public

"...But the testimony won't likely be made public any time soon: Arias' defense team has vowed to take the matter up for review with the Arizona Supreme Court...."

Lordy, I must come from a long line of abusive family interactions. Mom threatened us with Dad; Dad threatened the belt (did he really have one? I never saw it); Uncle threatened us with a willow switch that we got to pick (hmmm, was anyone ever really hit with it? Never saw it happen); I threatened my kids with a wooden paddle (that kind with the bouncy rubber ball) -- never once were they hit with it. And my poor dogs --- they get a squirt bottle occasionally for their barking. But threats are abuse so......

I must need counselling ........ or my husband may not be safe.

We had the wooden spoon, the hand, and a lot of hair pulling for the girls in my family. :floorlaugh:
My mother went after my brother with a broom and one day she even choked him (he never retaliated tho'). :scared:

Hell, back in the day when it was apparently legal, my parents had no qualms whatsoever about bringing out the "belt" to threaten bodily harm to (and/or use) if/when any of their five incorrigible little derelicts truly deserved it! We never got beat to a bloody pulp or to where we were seriously injured, but the back of our legs or bum knew that we did something wrong and weren't about to do it again! I also remember MY dear, beloved late mom chasing ME around her dining room table with her grandmother's "antique" "WOODEN SPOON" and she broke it over my (_!_)! She cried like a baby when it broke because she broke her beloved grannie's antique spoon. LOL I'm not in any way, shape, or form "traumatized" because of it. In fact, in my mom's senior years when she would be grateful or appreciative for me taking care of her, I would lovingly remind her that I was NOT a good, loving daughter since I had caused HER trauma when she had to beat my (_!_) for misbehaving and broke great grannies spoon over my behind! Her childlike, impish, senile grin made all my "abuse" worthwhile. I'd give anything to have my mom alive today -- hell, I'd even give her one of MY own wooden spoons and let her paddle my behind all she wanted to. Just sayin... Miss you mom...:loveyou:

Does she realize she looks like a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 today? Is she trying to come on to the young male jurors ? Better button up!!

Yes, I believe she truly is. I read her blog. I know, I am ashamed of myself. But the comments were ever so interesting. CMJA has a wiccan friend who is advising her on how to make at least one male juror fall for her enough so that she won't get the death penalty. I kid you not. Her followers are a strange lot.

Here's the important part from the CoA ruling that underscored the whole problem going on (at least important to me)

"Although expressing concern that Arias was being manipulative, the court stated it had considered the potential legal ramifications if an appellate court later determined that Arias did not voluntarily waive her right to present evidence in mitigation. As a result, the court closed the proceeding for Arias’ testimony."

Translation: JSS is running scared at every point where she has to make a decision because she is terrified the case may be overturned on appeal. It will be appealed, that is 100% certain. Judge Sherry is paralyzed and is giving in to the defense as much as she possibly can due to her fear. Basically she lacks confidence in understanding she has discretion to decide key issues and doubts herself. She also is catastrophizing (what IF the appellate court thinks Arias didn't get a chance to..... and then they overturn ....) Not a good thing for a trial judge in a capital murder case to rule from the fear that every decision could be deemed a judicial error.

The irony here is that she is so busy protecting the case from future appellate action that she may well end up with a 2nd mistrial from delay after delay and juror attrition, and then she will have to sentence Arias, and at that point the DP will not be in play at all. The defense is counting on this and would be only too happy if JSS stayed paranoid and scared.

Poor #JodiArias, she's been a victim her entire life. The jury should just put her out of her misery.

It's very clear that Jodi via her DT is running this trial. Since JSS has no control and is incapable or unwilling to control her court, she should step down and let a competent judge take over. Or is it too late for her to be removed?

I am still shocked at the killers appearance. Has aged 10 years in 17 months. I guess that is what happens when you are a convicted murderer.

What drives me nuts is that JSS told Nurmi to stand when he "objects" and he doesn't and she says nothing!!!! :sheesh:

(she's not very consistent, IMO)

Did you have a nice day Yes/no?
