Okay, so why is Jodi not responsible for HER choices? They broke up. Jodi moved to Mesa anyway. Travis was seeing other people, Jodi peeped in his windows. Those are CHOICES Jodi made for herself.

Jodi made the decision to unexpectedly show up at Travis' home on June 4, 2008, to seduce him into taking her to Mexico. He told her 'no way, and leave me alone forever.' He thought she left, took shower. Jodi murdered him.

How is that Travis' fault?

He was verbally abusive - She couldn't hang up or not answer the phone.
He was physically abusive - She couldn't say no to visiting him and consenting to mutual sex.
He breaks up with her - She couldn't end it without being closer to ensure his safety and keep his house clean.
He sees other people - She couldn't see just anyone date him, they had to be checked out for compatibility.
He invited her in on June 4th - She couldn't refuse his invitation.
He took a shower - She couldn't miss the opportunity to kill him.
He made her do it - she couldn't be blamed

Not my opinion, done sarcastically.
