(I just hate this "link" stuff)

LOL

The link rule is strange. On Tapatalk, I see double images :)

You're not posting into empty space. I, for one, am checking in occasionally and enjoying reading here. I can't follow some of the tangents we tend to explore when this trial has a long hiatus. The journals read just like JA's testimony in the last trial. The new motion—I'm not sure what to think. He hasn't heard the judge's ruling on the last one yet.

It's been a nice holiday away!

YESorNO- I never post, but always read-it is lunchtime on a stinking hot day in Australia, and I am "catching up with my reconciliations", (one page of rec, then WS, repeat) with curtains drawn, looking slightly les than fetching in my shorts, and thinking it is about time I gave you a big fat Thank You for all you posts!

OK- this seems to be info on that motion to "compel" and it's from the missy:jail: camp:

Jodi Arias Demands Previously Undisclosed Reports on Police Probe of Victim's Laptop

"Jodi Arias accuses her prosecutor of lying and demands the immediate release of forensic reports related to her victim's laptop in a court motion filed on Wednesday...

Now, Arias and her court-appointed defense team are asking Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Sherry Stephens to order the prosecution to "make available to the defendant any and all forensic reports generated by any member of the Mesa Police Department and/or anyone working on their behalf whose work is related [to the laptop]."..."

http://blogs.phoenixnewtimes.com/va...police_probe_of_victim.php?utm_medium=twitter

Sounds like Jodi wants to play tit for tat. Juan asked for the defense ie;" Tony " and others to be turned over and IIRC it hadn't been done by the 18th.

Jodi Arias Journal Entries

Expert reveals Arias' thoughts in journal (short clip):

JM's next trial:

Delays in the Death Penalty Trial for Christopher Redondo in the Shooting Death of Gilbert Police Lt. Eric Shuhandler

"The long awaited Maricopa County Death Penalty trial for Christopher Redondo has been delayed once again as Redondo has a new defense attorney and because the prosecutor in the case has been prosecuting the Jodie Arias case. Maricopa County Prosecutor Juan Martinez appears to be running the Jodie Arias defense through the ringer..."

:juanettes::juanettes::juanettes:

Reading her journal is absolutely hilarious unfortunately Travis lost his life to this nut job.
This trial is just a circus show with her being the ring master.

Good Morning! I do pop in a lot, but haven't posted too often.

I have spent the break from trial checking on other threads I let slide, or getting involved in a few new missing people cases. Mostly, spending the week with hubby (work closes between the two holidays) and taking several nice country drives while we still had decent weather. Today is a mix of rain, freezing rain, and snow.

Have a a great day, YES/NO. Thanks for keeping us entertained and on the ball! :loveyou:

Reagan shooter won't face new charges in Brady death

"...John Hinckley was found not guilty by reason of insanity in the shootings of Reagan, his then-press secretary James Brady, a Secret Service agent and a police officer. Hinckley, 59, has been committed to a psychiatric hospital for the past 32 years, although he now spends more than half of each month at his mother's home in Virginia....

In addition to the time he spends at his mother's house, where he may eventually be allowed to live full time, Hinckley has permission to drive on his own and to take unsupervised outings lasting up to four hours. He must carry a GPS-enabled cellphone while unsupervised, and his use of the Internet is restricted." :sheesh:

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/reagan-shooter-wont-face-new-charges-in-brady-death/ar-BBhse7W

I guess he's "well" now and won't shoot anyone anymore on his unsupervised outings????

Most cancers are caused by bad luck not genes or lifestyle, say scientists

"...Researchers found that two thirds of cancers are driven by random mistakes in cell division which are completely outside of our control.

They found that the more cells need to divide to stay healthy, the more likely cancer is to develop....

Of 31 cancers studied by scientists at John Hopkins University School of Medicine in the US, just nine were found to be linked to lifestyle or genetic faults. The remaining 22 were mainly just the result of ‘bad luck,’ with DNA and behaviour only having a small impact...

"We should focus more resources on finding ways to detect such cancers at early, curable stages."...

“The average cancer patient is just unlucky,” said Prof Clevers.."

Casey Anthony and the Liar’s Club Joined by the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants

"...We are inevitably left with Casey Anthony and I cannot help wondering what was the moral of the story for her? Simple, the message was that in life, you can get out of any bad situation by lying and you do not have to work or be productive. You can sacrifice your daughter, throw your own father under the bus and be rewarded for it if you wait long enough to write a book and give interviews. And all the adults around you will go along with it because they too have no moral compass..."

I thought it might be Spring yesterday --- saw a tree that actually had fresh buds on it. Poor tree, the buds will be frozen soon.

DH gave me a Kindle Fire for Christmas. Any suggestions for best books written by former jurors? Or intelligent, well written true crime offerings?

I finally watched "The Interview"............don't spend your money on it, watch it when it's free!
(but I'm not a theater goer or much of a pay for view kind of person!)
I put it in the category of "what's silly with this current decade". Like Cheech and Chong movies, "Wayne's World", "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, and Jay and Silent Bob.

As I was watching it, I was thinking, yeah, I can see Geraldo Rivera and his brother pulling a stunt like this...

Now for the weather: Yesterday, the low was -1.7, this morning it was 3 degrees. We still have snow on the ground from 3 days ago. Highs will finally get above freezing today and we will be heading towards the 50's by Monday. Oh yeah, this is Arizona. Sun's been out and "snow blindness" abounds!!! Water froze up at my son's for a bit. He's in Portland still, so his roomie, Evie, experienced the old "turn the faucet on, no water" effect for the first time in her life. She hasn't lived here in the area long enough to have experienced the Great Freeze of 1991.

We lost one of our emus, as in it just disappeared, "poof", about 6 days ago, and another one died 2 days ago/old age. Down to 2 now. Far cry from the 14 adults I had at one point in the 15 years I've raised them.

And I'm experiencing the old "what the heck did I do to make my muscles so achy?" syndrome. GAH! Just going and going for the last 2+ weeks, git 'er done, no time to think about lifting with your legs or what was that that just "popped" when I lifted that thing.

I still think winter is for hibernating.

I think it's REALLY strange that CMJA didn't mention anything about *buying a gun in her journals or her gold panning trip with a bunch of guys in the weeks after she murdered Travis. And if you "legally buy a firearm, why would you tape it to the inside of the firewall of your rental?

*Remember her things she wanted to overcome? Like her "fear" of firearms? I'd think that would've been important to write down, wouldn't you think? Like singing in front of a crowd?

She's so full of it, her eyes are brown.

I think she may have been thinking of going across a border...Canada? Mexico? And she hid the gun there

YESorNO,

I'm still recovering from some pre-holiday surgery and have had travel, celebrations and visitors cancelled which has made this season bleak at best.
Your stories, jokes, articles, updates, funnies of every kind have kept this old grouch in stitches often. (A vague and predictable operation/surgery pun there.)
Thanks for your dedicated commitment to posting: keeping us updated factually with court info, articles, motions etc., providing the funnies, often off beat, frequently reminiscent, curious, serious and thought provoking, and for me personally the anticipation of what you will give us next!

What she said! ^^^^^

YESorNO = :yourock: :tyou: for ALL your posts!

ETA: I feel guilty some times because it seems as if I'm hogging up the thread with all my posts.
Wish others would post more- even if it has nothing to do with missy, but I guess most people have a busy life (unlike me ). Oh well.

Oh no, please do not feel guilty!! :naughty: no, no, no! I believe we ALL love ALL your posts! Please do not stop! :gathering: that's why we're here!

I saw the Interview - lots of swearing, but kind of funny!

Sorry, can't go back and look - but someone said they got a new Kindle for Christmas and wanted some suggestions - how about: Patricia Cornwell, Karin Slaughter, and Kathy Reichs are great books to read!!

Okay - HOPING :dunno: this will post...

have a great day everyone! :seeya:
