No matter what your view #jodiarias is she has ALL the same constitutional rights to a fair trial. The judge must protect those rights.

And Travis Alexander's rights? Not so much. Jodi Arias made sure of that.

It reminds me of The Beverly Hillbillies and road-kill. :facepalm:

It also reminds me of my son when he was about 9 years old. There was this new documentary on TV, Walking With Dinosaurs, that we watched- very realistic imagery. This was the time period that my son wanted to be an archaeologist.

When one of the dinosaurs killed and ate another, my son asked me why that dinosaur did that- he was very upset and cried. I told him that the dinosaur did that to live and we do the same with cows except someone else does the killing. We just buy the meat at the supermarket. Well- my son started to cry harder and said he would never eat meat again! That next year or so, he wouldn't eat any meat and subsisted on Kraft macaroni and cheese (the poor thing :( ) It's hard when the reality of how we need protein to subsist - meat- harms animals, but that is life. Eventually, I guess, the memory of that scene faded and he did eat meat again.

I know some about Asperger's as that is what I first thought my son had, but it turned out to be ADD. I do believe that my husband has Asperger's syndrome and not ADD. They are very similar.

He'll be twenty on Valentines Day. Since he found out that his great great great grandfather was a blacksmith and had a forge on his ranch tat has been his goal and it's driving me nuts. We go round and round on city ordinances and state law and in a aspergers brain - very legalistic - toe the line - no substitute or changes - you said it you can't go back on your word- ever. He and his best friend talk about living out in the woods fending for themselves, which is fine...go live there,and do it.

He has built snares to catch varmints (I do wonder what he's going to do with the possums , raccoons and skunks that get into the snares), and I've told him he need to talk with my brother about skinning and cleaning and cooking them. He use to get of work at six in the morning and shoot a few squirrels and had fried squirrels, biscuits and gravely.


My son, his daddy's favorite was Jethro Bodine and wanted to be just like him - he wanted to grow up to be a brain surgeon or a fry cook.

If you watch The Big Bang I can see many of the quirks that Sheldon has in my grandson.
