I agree with yo..however Nurms and WIlly aren't playing by the same rules..as their agenda seems to be delay delay as long as they can..SOOO IT crossed my reasoning they (Def) instead of just making that verbal motion..THEY attached a reason...Prosecutorial Misconduct..Different story :tantrum:...as normally defence just state..NOT proven or facsimile....SO given their accusations..it THEN become incumbent to prove those accusations of misconduct....Am I making any sense?? :winkkiss:

Yep, you are making sense. They sure don't play by any rules, do they!

I think Nurmi requested additional time to file another motion to dismiss and apparently JSS gave him that. He now has a bug up his butt about JM not respecting the court and uttering McWitness's name. So he thinks that should cause a mistrial--JSS already said nope. Now he wants to do another motion to dismiss, most likely citing the same "disrespect of the prosecutor toward the court." But who really knows Nurmi's motives on any given day? I will say, though, that I am glad to see him filing anything and everything he can think of--that leaves little room for what'herface to win appeals involving ineffective counsel down the road.

This was very interesting! Thank you. Why don't the states require the specialists testifying be certified for that state? There should be some state/federal guideline, rule, law or whatever that saids if Dr. A, from Florida, can testify in a Texas case. It bothers me that some of these so called specialists are not that great, and even the defendants are not getting a good representation. Needless to say going out of state also causes added expense. Experts can be from anywhere but just because you say you are an expert does not mean you are. Wish there were some guidelines. I hope that makes sense.
 
The Letter.
I finally read it today. How she could write out such a detailed story is beyond me. I was waiting (and afraid of reading) how "they" slit his throat. Then again maybe better for her not to, they did it after she left . The one thing that stood out like a red flag , "they" took her money and GAS RECEIPTS!!! like who the he(( would want her gas receipts? She wrote this with intentions of it being turned over to LE !! That was to be her reason for not having the receipts!! what a cold calculating biotch!!!!! Using his family!!! There are no words, even swear words that can describe this sick pile of #*!%&@ ! May she roast in he(( forever.
 
Regarding RMBD...

Beswick over-stepped herself. She is no better than any other journalist.
Her comments section is toxic with JA supporters and Beswick gives back just as much as she gets.
An endless cycle of poison.
Seems her interview with Kelly was only meant to embarrass and humiliate.
it's all about the hits.
Was jealousy involved? Perhaps. Well respected Paul Sanders was kind enough to host Kelly's blog.
The blog on the left uses foul language, reflecting the anger trial watchers feel,
while the blog on the right wastes time infighting JA supporters who carry no weight whatsoever concerning, integrity, empathy or logic.

I won't waste another minute contemplating the whole mess. It's all just white noise sizzle.
They will sort it out, and everyone will forget, while the real focus, Travis, is not forgotten.

Whoa!!! This has been discussed in depth on the other trial thread, but I could not read Christine's article until Bernia's post on this thread. So I was doing the reading without knowing what it was all about on the other thread. I have read Kelly's blog (did not even pay attention that was her name) and while I do abhor the foul language (you always warn us), the articles/blogs have been so funny. I saw the pay donation thingie but never gave it a thought. It appeared to be free to read so I did and never felt guilty. I think I vaguely wondered about the "donation" tab but....... Never read anything about Kelly's personal life or what not until Christine's article. But now it does make one wonder though about either of them. I would never make "donations" on the internet and certainly not to someone I do not know via the internet, however I do like to read their blogs/articles when centered on this trial. But that is just me. (JMO)

YesandNo, have you heard the weather for tomorrow afternoon into Tuesday? They are comparing the winter storm to the Blizzard 1978. OMGosh. That storm shut our state down for 2 days. Terrible news. I hate snow.

I rescued a Cockatiel yesterday, His human mommy passed away 6 months ago, and he's been depressed,
her children didn't have time to love him, giving him to a pet shop. Poor guy had plucked half his feathers off.
I'd been looking for over a year, after my Lucky passed away.
This morning, he is happy. He has a friend to talk to now. Her name is Ladybird and she's a HAM!
I'll wait a week or so before I blend them in the same cage.
All is well.

BBM: If it would make me wonder about one, it would make me wonder about both.

Why are some people of the mind that they are entitled to documentation--in this case medical and/or psychiatric records--of another citizen? It's not like K is running for public office or some such thing. My god...I can't think of much worse than betrayal by someone you thought was your friend. If C had a problem with K, why not just ask her about it in private?

This business of "outing" people is totally out of control. It has made obnoxious behavior seem OK to the point where humiliating and embarrassing someone in a public venue is used by many for nothing but entertainment, fgs! Television programs like Jerry Springer and Maury have huge followings, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why!! It begs the question: WTH is wrong with people?!
 
I have one comment about 'blog-gate': if people want to throw money at strangers, it's their's to throw. If they're being duped, that's their own fault. I'd rather throw my spare cash into my children and grandchildren and life has taught me to be wary of strangers with sobs stories and their hands out. We're all big people, if we want to give someone our hard earned money...nothing wrong with that. If someone wants to lie about their reality, I give them pity not money and I learn to not take what they say as 100% truth. This works online and off :), I get why the truths were exposed, no one loves a liar but any one of us can be someone different than we portray on-line. It's the downfall of the internet.
 
We *may* have a 12 hour court day tomorrow, 9:15 am to 9:00 pm. I can't do it the entire time :scared: cause I kinda have a life, lol!
