Has CFJA proclaimed being a song writer yet??? I see she did win the prison American Idol contest (puke)...Think she really knows her self professed accolades are BS..and that her " idol" winning was equally disgusting and a joke..And btw WHO proclaimed her to be an artist, photographer...As I see it she is an unemployed waitress and sometimes bartender.
Can't believe no one has posted Joni, especially the men, she was a beauty, still is:

I saw Elton John last fall. It was amazing. I think I may have posted it already??? Totally him. He and piano. For 2 hours solid. No breaks. No back up or opening. Just Elton. We had great seats. What an amazing show. I almost cried.
ETA- Glad he married a Canadian. He does many smaller venues here
:floorlaugh: I had the Doobs straight, but I had the same problem with that line from Poppa was a Rolling Stone. Here are a couple of admissions of my own.
I was convinced for most of my childhood that "Black is Black, I want by Baby Back," was actually "Black is Black, I want my Gravy Back..."
One of my DW's coworkers sung "Felix"with great gusto. We know it, of course, as "Feelings."
My sister was dumbfounded to learn that her favorite Journey song was "Open Arms," not, as she imagined, "Broken Arms."
:floorlaugh: Uh, GUILTY!!!! Ever hear of "Winchester the Zebra"? I don't know what grade I was in then in elementary school, but the whole bunch of us would be belting our lungs out on the bus.........little did we know...."Winchester Cathedral"
One tween day my DD, MY DD, asked me who is Jimi Hendrix??!! :scared:
Needless to say we spent a lot of time playing music, bonding - she liked it as she is wordy so Axis Bold As Love - then she asked me who are the Beatles. I needed to put in some calls. That takes way too long.
She also asked me to find love songs for her Birthday present one year, as a teen, and I forced her to listen to U2, and she said they had none!!! I found a cheesy CD of love songs. Her fave is, UGH, "If you like Pinacolodas". She got that from her dad's side.
Too cool! I have finally figured out how to use the $15 MP3 player I bought three years ago and I'm having a wonderful time listening to all kinds of music. Today's mission from God is downloading ZZ Top!

I had my children late in life,31the first, 35 second, 41the third, I am 61 now and they all had to grow up with DH and My choice of music. My oldest when she started college, came home with a poster of the Beatles. It still hangs in our bedroom to this day.
