I'm going to take a break from watching any trials up close and personal. More from a distance. This one was just too exhausting and maddening.

I actually watched it.

I want the jacket on the lead singer. The pants can go, the cravat does not match and needs to be of a better material. Lol.

Everyone else can just stay where they are. :P

Loved the refined English gentleman at the table bit!

Several years ago my son and I were driving from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon listening to his latest playlist. He, of course, had always criticized my taste in music, but by this time, he had "discovered" Dylan and Neil Young.
When "These Days" by Nico came up, he about drove off the highway when I informed him that Jackson Browne wrote that tune for Nico when he was sixteen.
Jackson is my all-time favorite, and my first and always crush.

I just saw Jackson Brown and Jimmy Buffet in austin about 2 weeks ago. Excellent concert. Terrible venue.

I was about 12 or 13 when Elvis became a big deal. All the parents were outraged by his "hip movements" and most of us were forbidden to listen to his music.

One Saturday, my Dad was out of town on business, my Mom took me to an early dinner and a movie. I don't think she payed any attention to what was playing at the movie, she just wanted to get out of the house. (This was in the days of double features.)

Well, Jailhouse Rock was one of the movies. I worried she would say we had to leave when it came on. But, long story short, she fell in love! When we exited the theater we had to walk past a record store next door to get to our car. She said, "Do you want to go in here?" Anyway, she bought me EVERY 45 Elvis had made at that time. Boy, were my friends jealous!

Many days I'd come home from school and she would be playing Elvis records. I sure miss my Mom.:twocents:

That's such a great story and a wonderful memory for you to have about a special lady!

I posted this yesterday in the other Sidebar thread but I'll put it here in case you missed it - Elvis looking so darned HANDSOME!!!

Elvis Presley - NBC Comeback Special 1968, 50 min. Live - YouTube

Save it for when you have some time - it's almost an hour long.

'Son of Sam' is very easy to get around. Just say "It was a gift. Now I want to sell it."

Awesome! I have a Beatles room myself -- where the treadmill is.

I don't have a Beatles room but I have a Beatles "area". I also own a total of two Spawn action figures that my son gave me for my birthday once. One is Janis Joplin and the other is John Lennon from Yellow Submarine. Still in the packages but displayed non the less.

Can't believe Traffic is getting shown, great!

Whomever posted the Simply Red link, thank you. May I point out if you go to that link on youtube you will get on the side all the women faves from VH1! Hahaha, wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
