Not sure would other baby boomers would say but I for one NEVER used sun screen. Our mission was to burn baby burn and I have the proof all over my body in the form of sun spots. Sometimes we would spend all day with baby oil mixed with iodine to get darker.

Yep and don't forget the aluminum sun visors we used. sheesh, we were bacon.

I have not been able to post regularly for these last couple weeks, tho have been able to closely follow along with the trial, interviews, antics, etc as well as able to at least follow along in reading the majority of posts here on WS.. So, plz forgive if my post is disjointed and/or not on topic with the current flow of discussion:blushing:

I am just now having a chance in the wee early hours of this morning to watch/listen to the DD interview with Juror #8 and I apologize as its likely this has already been thoroughly and exhaustively discussed ad nauseum, but I must remark that for whatever reason I actually came away with an EVEN stronger sense than ever that this jury WILL ABSOLUTELY CHOOSE THE PENALTY OF DEATH VS LIFE WITH/WITHOUT PAROLE for our Convicted Felon, Arias! Do others have that same sense or have I just become so very convinced and well beyond satisfied with this State having thoroughly proven beyond all reasonable doubt that not only was it First degree, PREMEDITATED murder, but that it is the epitome of especially cruel, and in every aspect qualifies for the penalty of death for Jodi Ann Arias?...

Because I full well admit that I am without doubt convinced of this and there is zero shame in admitting such..but is it my solid confidence in this that is possibly clouding or shading my view of this jury and the "feel" that I get from them wrt how they will ultimately rule on Jodi's sentencing?.. Because I truly felt confident even prior to juror #8's interview that this jury seemed to me to be right there on the same page as the prosecutor and Travis' family..but after having heard Juror #8's brief interview on DD I just became extremely confident that this is exactly what this jury is intent on voting for as Jodi's penalty for her crimes against Travis.

His remarking candidly that there was ZERO..NOTHING..ZILCH that was believed about Jodi's version of events, and especially heinous were the lies regarding the trashing of the victim, particularly the pedophilia.. IMO this was very relieving for me to know that this jury was fully understanding of who/what Jodi Arias is and was not at all in any way manipulated or fooled by Jodi's tactics.. I believe that it is this choice made by Jodi to literally slaughter Travis ALL OVER AGAIN and even taking great delight and enjoyment in her doing so.. I believe that decision made by her will play a key role In what her soon to be known fate will be as decided by these Arizona citizens..

But Imo the factor that is ABOVE ALL ELSE in determining her FULLY WORTHY of the penalty of death IS WHAT IMO IS THE INDISPUTABLE FACT THAT JODI ARIAS HAS NOT EVEN A SHRED..NOT EVEN THE TINIEST OF AN IOTA OF REMORSE for her beyond cruel and barbaric slaughtering of this innocent victim..and her *DUPING DELIGHT* In slaughtering him ALL OVER AGAIN in court..therefor EVEN WORSE in her inflicting THE UTMOST OF UNWARRANTED PAIN AND ANGUISH AMONGST THE TOTALLY INNOCENT FAMILY MEMBERS OF TRAVIS ALEXANDER..

IMO it is the zero remorse of any degree that Jodi has consistently shown throughout that has BOUGHT AND PAID IN FULL for her *SOON-TO-BE-ONE-WAY-TICKET-TO-HELL* via a gurney and needle courtesy of the state of Arizona ..and what IMO sealed the proverbial deal was her choice to attempt to slaughter and completely anihilate what was the only thing left of Travis.. his memory..his legacy..in her vicious, cruel lies of pedophilia amongst the many other blasphemous lies..IMO the vicious cruelty of those actions on the part of Arias is what IMO is the factor that wipes away any doubt or hesitation anyone may have even thought of having wrt Jodi Arias and the sentence that it is their sworn duty to decide as to what is her eternal fate..

Jodi, IMO truly has taken all of the difficulty out of this life changing, difficult decision that these Arizona citizens are about to impose on her.. It is Jodi's actions, alone that will have led to the easily attained unanimous vote of these 12 jurors for the PENALTY OF DEATH as their recommended sentence for the convicted felon, Jodi Ann Arias!.. Therefore it is Jodi Ann Arias, alone who she has to be thankful to for having the penalty of death imposed upon her. NO ONE but JODI IS to BLAME and IS RESPONSIBLE for her conviction and sentence.. Just as no one, but JODI IS to BLAME and IS RESPONSIBLE for why Travis was so very brutally and cruelly stripped of not only his life, but his dignity as well in the way in which he was taken from this world..

I'm certainly praying that my instincts are dead on with this..and not for my sake of needing to be "right"..much, much, much more Importantly is for the sake of this beautiful Alexander family in seeing justice come swiftly and firmly served upon this GUILTY AND IMO FULLY DESERVING OF DEATH, DEFENDANT, Jodi Arias!

AS ALWAYS these are all nothing more than jmo, tho!..but boy do I feel SO VERY STRONGLY about these opinions regarding this convicted felon, Arias!!

Hang on guys we are almost there, and IMO you damn well better believe we will see justice served on behalf of this man, this human being, Travis Victor Alexander!!

MOST IMPORTANTLY to the beautifully, strong Alexander Siblings I offer my continued, fervent prayers..
You guys are almost there in seeing this ALL THE WAY THROUGH IN YOUR DEMANDING THIS BITTERSWEET JUSTICE ON BEHALF of your brother, whom you regard was always the ROCK, the FOUNDATION, and just as Samantha said, WAS THE GLUE by WHICH you all are BONDED together.

Guys, That bond is NOW STRONGER THAN EVER IN WEATHERING THIS MOST BRUTAL OF LIFE'S STORMS in seeking this DESERVED JUSTICE ON BEHALF OF TRAVIS.. THROUGH THIS ULTIMATE OF trying times TRAVIS has once again been the glue which has fortified the strong bond shared amongst you, Alexander Siblings..IT is exactly this that Travis is BEAMING DOWN UPON in seeing that bond now STRONGER THAN EVER IN each of you being the source of support, motivation, and each of you there to pull each other through in times of difficulty and hardship that are brought forth over the course of our lifetimes.. Travis lives on through each and everyone of you as you all each are very literally a part of who and what Travis Alexander is and was and will always be throughout eternity. You each have that strength within yourselves that you looked for and recognized in Travis .. Your bravery and selflessness is without doubt and I personally haven't a doubt that Travis is In awe of what unconditional, unwaivering love has been shown him by those who in this life he's loved the very most, his siblings!:heartbeat:

Oh thanks TD, Chicago was my very first concert (think it was in '74), I never knew music could make me feel that good until I experienced it in person. I used to keep all my concert ticket stubs but at some point we separated, I miss being able to look through them and relive those memories. But YT helps!

Ha ! Remember the aluminum tanning mats? I grew up in the midwest in farm country. One of my best friends mother had passed away and her dad was gone all day farming... the silver metal roof on his hay barn and the cold keg of beer on tap in a fridge and we were good to go for all day topless sunbathing...Jeez...surely our parents wondered how we came home from school fried?

OK now this is funny :floorlaugh:

“@brendabonamie: WomenShelter of Long Beach has asked jodiarias is innocent to REMOVE their SHIRTS!!!” Yahooooo!!!

ITA~ Embrace who you are! I believe if you can stay and look young if you sleep lots, have childish fun and see the beauty in everything.

I've seen so many older women trying to look young but they look idiotic so I've decided just to stay the way I am. No matter how hard they try or what they do, older women trying to look like teenagers....it don't work.

I had forgotten about the aluminum sun visors and tanning mats. I didn't use them, strictly a lie on the lawn chair chick spritzing water on myself when I felt I needed more burn. Loved the peel and peeling it off...just like peeling Elmers off. How dumb.
