Camille Kimball ‏@CamilleKimball 16 May I wish someone could give an impact statement on behalf of Napoleon. He was orphaned, had to smell his master decaying for days. #JodiArias

Not to mention Doggy Boy. :(

Not immune to the 'winds' of change, I did later embrace the flugelhorn, as did this fellow:

The guy with the flugelhorn is my cousin! Way before Mr. Mertz, I had a boyfriend who was a classical pianist and he would CRINGE at the opening notes, infamously saying "Feels So Good, Sounds So Bad"... dragged him to a Chuck concert once and thereafter he refused to go.

Mr. Mertz wants me to share this - some of his favorite music:

Why is there no separate thread specifically for the trial?

I hope the mods aren't miffed by all this off topic stuff but it has been a day of thrills for me reading the memoirs of all the fellow hipsters.

Awwww don't be bent...this is the thread. We've just gotten carried away with our oldster thoughts since nothing new is happening with the trial.

OK now this is funny :floorlaugh:

Haha...had to thank this one twice.

It sure does. Remember when everything seemed to take forever and a day?

Yes that is so true. Summers were forever and the school year seemed the same. I cherish every minute. Time is fleeting now and I don't know why.

A question, do you feel different? I don't, I just don't recognize the person in the mirror. I look different but inside I am the same. I am up with what is happening in our world and I still fight for a cause. I converse and laugh with my co-workers who could be my children. I feel the same but wiser. I've been there and done that, smelled the scent of victory and defeat. I had much hardship and happiness and I am the wiser to know the difference. I am the same person inside as I have always been, my heart is still in the same place. I am me and no matter my age, I am still just me.

If you had to pick an all time ONE favorite song it would be.........

The Dance .....Garth

What is the first song that comes to your mind?
