Yes that is so true. Summers were forever and the school year seemed the same. I cherish every minute. Time is fleeting now and I don't know why.

A question, do you feel different? I don't, I just don't recognize the person in the mirror. I look different but inside I am the same. I am up with what is happening in our world and I still fight for a cause. I converse and laugh with my co-workers who could be my children. I feel the same but wiser. I've been there and done that, smelled the scent of victory and defeat. I had much hardship and happiness and I am the wiser to know the difference. I am the same person inside as I have always been, my heart is still in the same place. I am me and no matter my age, I am still just me.

Bravo...that sums it all up in a nutshell. I think of our bodies as a car. Just the vehicle we get around in, our brains are still young and vibrant. I'm still the same person I always was just in an older car.

The guy with the flugelhorn is my cousin! Way before Mr. Mertz, I had a boyfriend who was a classical pianist and he would CRINGE at the opening notes, infamously saying "Feels So Good, Sounds So Bad"... dragged him to a Chuck concert once and thereafter he refused to go.

Mr. Mertz wants me to share this - some of his favorite music:

THE RIPPINGTONS / TAOS - YouTube

My mind works in strange ways, when I read the "Feels So Good.." I thought of "Hurts So Good", then I thought of "Jack and Diane".
John Mellencamp - Jack & Diane and R.O.C.K. in the USA (Live at Farm Aid 1998) - YouTube

That was the doggie the killer kicked. Bet she kicked a lot of other doggies too.

TA was not the first time that psychopath killed IMO.

Regarding the family dog, what she did was switch 2 letters.

She said kicked. Really meant killed.

I would like to thank Admin and the Mod's for this great thread. I have truly enjoyed this. We talked about the trial happenings, we talked about our lives, we shared jokes and music and just about anything. This was a tremendous relief from this most stressful and heartbreaking trials. Thank you so much!

And how about Doc Severinsen starting out with McArthur Park:

Not immune to the 'winds' of change, I did later embrace the flugelhorn, as did this fellow:

I'm from Rochester, NY (yep, same as Steely). My brother is a musician and has played with Chuck Mangione a few times...played steady gigs with brother Gap Mangione for years.
Other than that, my brother is pretty much an a$$.

Note to all females 40 years old and younger: :seeya:
Start saving for your facelift now. My sister got a mini-lift last year andlooks 15 years younger. If I had a spare $5 grand, I'd get one tomorrow.

If you had to pick an all time ONE favorite song it would be.........

The Dance .....Garth

What is the first song that comes to your mind?

Driving home through the desert I would always hear Kansas...Dust in the Wind. Love that song.

Just wish I could remember things like I used to lol What were we talking about?

Awwww don't be bent...this is the thread. We've just gotten carried away with our oldster thoughts since nothing new is happening with the trial.

:floorlaugh: It's no problem, really!! I just wondered that's all. Party on sleuthers!

Yep and don't forget the aluminum sun visors we used. sheesh, we were bacon.

I remember our sitter using baby oil with red stuff in it. Not sure what the red stuff was for. BTW, class of 1987 :seeya:

This is what disturbs me the most with the defense's "8 Mitigating Circumstances" listing "no prior criminal history". We do not know for certain that she doesn't, even without assuming she is the one who slashed Travis' car tires, hacked his computer, etc.

MOO
