Urgh.........9:30 Az time this trial and the crazy weather is NOT letting me get much done! Today was GORGEOUS (even though it was sloppy with mud), so I just played with the ponies! High 64, low 31. Looking at the 70's by Thursday but still flirting with freezing temps at night. Won't last long, we have our mandatory April Fool's Day snow storm to look forward to!

It was pretty neat growing up in Scottsdale in the 60's and 70's because "famous people" were just people, no airs or anything like that. I don't get all a flutter when someone "famous" is around, they've always just been humans........although some are real azzes.

I'm remembering the day my younger son came home from fourth grade and told me that there would be music classes and he wanted to take the classes. I thought he might want to play the trumpet or maybe the drums, but he said he wanted to play the flute. He played the flute for 9 years and in high school, he played in the marching band for 2 years. He doesn't play his flute anymore tho'- I miss hearing him practice.

I wonder why his brothers, Gary and Greg, and sisters, Hillary and Allie, are never in the courtroom? I understand that not all family members in all families are close but you would think they would all be there for Travis. That disappoints me. It places a huge load on the three that show up most of the time. I feel so bad for Travis!!

No Deanna is finished. Tomorrow we have the cross of Bishop Parker and then testimony of Det Smith, computer forensics expert, is supposedly next. But I also think Dr DeMarte will speak after Travis friends. I do hope his friends speak for him. I wish JM would bring in every one possible.

Got stuck playing an accordion forever--- I think my parents wanted me to join the Lawrence Welk Show. :giggle: I never play any more. Sad how we stop some of our pleasures, tho. My grandma sure loved our efforts.

I took 10 years of piano...hated it!

But when I got my great aunt's piano a few year's back, an awesome upright made in 1892, I was all over it!

I played the violin for 2 years- wasn't very good tho'.

Lawrence Welk- we would watch him all the time (my mother knew all the names of the people on that show, who married who, who had a baby, what time they went to the bathroom :facepalm: , etc.- like they were our family :facepalm: )
