The Hispanic influence in Arizona is huge, many people speak Spanish as a 2nd language, the architecture, street signs, communities have Hispanic names. Arizona was BOUGHT from Mexico with the Gadsden Purchase, and by Mexican Cession (Treaty of Guadelupe Hildago/Mexican American War)
That's like Nurmi hearing someone sing "Fat Bottom Girls" or offering him a Subway Sandwich, and taking it to the Judge.

I do think that the defense team and all associated will use anything to try and get it to 'stick' and cause a delay or mistrial. Just like the felon 'smiles' at someone on the jury and/or makes eye contact/smiles/stares at those in the court room tweeting. She can try and claim 'something' if anyone of them smiled/stared back!!! JMO
