Totally OT:

I have a new IPad Air 2 and just love it. I downloaded the Houzz app and Pinterest app and have been perusing ideas for my major house update. My family room is equestrian themed, kinda like the Ralph Lauren equestrian style. I have a 9 foot sliding glass door in there, which is nice for light, but a pain to find drapes and curtain rods for as it is so wide.

I saw this pic on the Houzz site that is a metal curtain rod with a snaffle horse bit in the center. It is custom made and I was so excited to find it. I ordered it in their antique brown finish and curtain rings. Who knew a curtain rod could be so exciting lol.

It is nearly a one of a kind rod, Zuri. I love that. That will go very nicely in your family room.

I've never seen anything like those curtain rods, pretty imaginative!

We were given a gift card to Starbucks .... and we haven't seen a single one in our area yet. I wonder if it was a re-gift card?

They are in our markets too. Love Starbucks, it's the only coffee I'll drink.

Thanks for thinking of me. It wasn't me and I can't remember who it was. Renee14 or Linas maybe? I probably have that wrong. Hope you are feeling better ILTBP. So glad you are back! Xo

No, I'm good thanks. My biggest problem at the moment is Hot Flashes. It's a special kind of h*ll. Thanks for thinking of me.

Don't know if this might be helpful, but you can use gift cards online at the Starbucks website. Maybe some coffee or a mug?

Lot of nonsense on Twitter about those pics.....they look like screen shots from the video chat visitation that Estrella has. Seriously, no one would be allowed into visitation with a cell phone so they could take pics....against the rulez! Lol!

CMJA looks like a caged rat,
ugly-smiley.gif
guess I'll have to go to Photoshop and put some ol' whiskers on her mug.............don't hold your breath, though, unlike the inmate, I have this thing called "freedom".

I think CMJA REALLY doesn't have a handle on where she's at.........Estrella means "Star" in Spanish, I had a filly I named "Estrella Demonio"..."Demon Star". CMJA is not in a celebrity jail for "Stars"
roll-eye-smiley.gif
.....she obviously did NOT get the memo........

While she was sorting through her breakfast mush, I was out with the farrier, talking about alpacas....I just might get 2 because I CAN. Maybe call them Esteban and ? Already have the swans, Juan and Juanita (pre JM).

Good thing I kept my clippers from the sheep, ha, ha!

CMJA won't even have the option to have a pet where she's going, unless she's into cockroaches. They have races there in Perryville. She can name her's Maria.

Oh that was sooooooo bad!

GAH! I feel your pain! Just when you think they've gone away, like FOREVER, they hit you again a month later!!! I thought this 9 year hell was OVER, and blammo, it started up AGAIN.

There was an interesting study in, I think, the New York Times. The average menopause lasts 7 1/2 years, with 14 YEARS at the far end of the spectrum. Thanks for the wonderful "heads up", NYTs!!!!! :gaah:

Who's taking the pictures of her???
To Maria, I say: your mitigation was totally ineffective sans the stealth juror. 13 people didn't buy your BS!!

I'm just starting, got off the pill beginning of Jan. then got sick then in Feb. it started. Not what I was expecting, I thought it'd be that my chest and head would feel flushed. It's more like all-over sweaty, feverish spontaneous combustion without warning!!! Usually they go away pretty quickly, but not yesterday, I stayed hot all over. Did find some cute sleeveless tops at Penney's online yesterday in my size though, I'm psyched about that. Go to see my gyn Weds.

I didn't opt for HRT, grandmother had cervical cancer, just didn't want to chance it. So I just plodded through it till 2 years ago, tried Estroven Max Strength, took about 6 weeks to kick in and it worked, for a while, then started taking 2 extra a day..............and said "ENOUGH"!

I just try to pretend it's reverse puberty.

My sister (twin) tried hart and then got diagnosed with stage one breasted cancer ~~ not sure if there was a connection so I use the OTC estroven myself.

Did anyone ever figure out who the books were going to? I have huge stacks of books...and I feel bad I promised them to someone but can't remember the poster!

I plodded through it without hrt. One thing in my favor at the time was my work. We had a cooler to sell cold drinks. It had to be stocked from inside. I kept that thing so nice. They would remind me of a coat available to use but I just said no thanks. My description of hot flashes was it felt like you were standing in front of an oven that was set at 450 and the door was opened.
