+1 for Neti pots. I actually started using the Neti bottle, which gives a higher pressure wash. Once pollen blanketing starts next month I'll be using it twice a day for a few weeks.

That's brutal? Shooting an innocent person in the face after robbing them is brutal.

Firing squad makes good sense. It's economical, bullets don't have expiration dates like the drugs used for executions, since expert markspeople would be utilized to carry out the executions, the chances of a botched execution would be slim to none. I like it. I mean if a state is going to have the DP, then have it and carry it out.

Wash the inside of my nose??? Sounds horrible!!! :scared:
Did you ever spit milk out of your nose (because your funny brother was making a joke at the dinner table while you were drinking milk, and then your mother got mad at you and not your brother?? :floorlaugh: ) well that kinda hurts, IMO. :(

Warm saline solution doesn't hurt or burn at all. Feels soothing.

In the olden day you have soup, adult aspirin, Vicks vapo rub on you chest and under you nose, hot water in the sink and towel over your head, and the big one I hated -your throat swabbed with Iodine. There was also Mercurochrome and the hated Merthiolate - also known as monkey blood. The up side was Ludens Cherry cough drops, Vicks cough drops, and Sucrets when they came out.

When Anna was four we were out talking with our neighbors she fell on the driveway and scraped her knees, so I took her home to clean it up and put a bandage on them - she screamed all the way home " I don't want no monkey blood, please mama no monkey blood"" over and over. It made for a interesting conversation when the neighbors showed up on the doorstep thinking I as making her drink monkey blood. I have many memories of knees and elbows painted orange and red. You got to the point you hid your boo boos. You didn't know which was worse the boo boo or the monkey blood. I also remember Luck Tiger ointment .

You or N, all the court videos have no sound. Thought it was my computer butoter videos have sound. Did they block sound on purpose?

I never knew you could do that ( the CC- subtitles). There are some doozy of crazy word/phrases interpretations- real funny: :facepalm:

"Curtain" for Kirk Nurmi

"mysterious" for Miss Arias

"trees" for attorneys

"ducking arias" for delicate matters

"womb" for whom

and your question, answered:

"miss a races" for Miss Arias :silly:

I think it makes it more fun to just read the words while listening to the Ytubes- especially when Lawrence or Wilmott are speaking. :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

It really got to the point where JSS was more like the playground monitor, Juan's playing dodge ball, Wilmont's always getting smacked and starts whining, while Nurmi's under a tree eating his moonpie and picking his nose, occasionally saying it's his ball and he wants to go home. I'm surprised she didn't have a whistle, or just pull a big ol' damn gun from under her robe and shoot one off in the air.

I agree with you about JSS. I do understand people's frustrations with her, but we all know it's tough job, and I believe she tried her best to not allow any crumbs for DT to appeal. So easy to see some things after the fact.

Merhtiolate was /is called monkey blood down here below the Mason-Dixon line. I don't know where it came to be called that, probably a parent thinking that would calm a child, but after the stinging and burning ,word was spread from child to child to avoid the monkey blood.
