Everyone here is the best....I need to share. Today, my 85 year old mom left this world. Mom had fallen a lot, probably mini strokes, and broke hip/pelvis in three different places the past two months plus she had osteoporosis and had her back fused in several areas over the past two years. She was in a lot of pain the last 6 weeks. I was not able to be with her because of health issues but my brother and family was with her. It has been a long day. Thanks for listening again. Since I cannot sleep right now, I am going back to read all the posts I have missed. it is very quiet in the felons land!

My condolences to you MsJosie on your mom's passing.

OMG ~ that little elephant baby is so darn precious! Looks like they whole family rallies around the mama's offspring...mom, dad, uncle, aunts and cousins :smile:
Seems elephants really take to heart that old proverb that "it takes a village to raise a child."

coffeejunkie...welcome to Social Security Land! I got my first check last year and there was dancing, if not in the streets, then definitely in Chez dood! At the end of next year I'll be on Medicare, too...man, you never saw a chick so happy to be getting older...lol.
