I just read on the thread they found the little guy, deceased. They say he drowned. Such a sad end. May he rest in the arms of our Lord.

Was anyone watching him? They just left him alone in the front yard?

I didn't leave my kids alone in our backyard and it was fenced. I sat and read, played my gameboy, hang the wash out to dry, etc;, and watched them out of the corner of my eye. We grilled hamburger and hotdogs, I'd packed sandwiches and fruit ,water and juice. We went out around nine thirty, did our circle time and they played until about twelve and then in for nap time. They didn't have to sleep, they had a movie to watch or read books quietly, and we got up between two thirty and three, had a snack, painted and did crafts while I finished dinner and we went back after. They had a swing set, dome climber, trampoline, tree house, and a teepee ,wagons, bikes, hot wheels and a large sandbox that the neighbor kids loved to come over and play. We had very sleepy tired kids after their bath, and they were out for the night by nine.

I wasn't comfortable with them being out there alone, and I still go out with our dogs several times during the night.

This lunar is the moon will be completely within the shadow of the Earth.


What is unique about tonight’s eclipse is the duration of the total phase. The moon will be completely within the dark inner shadow of the earth for only 4 minutes and 43 seconds, making it the shortest eclipse of the twenty first century. This is the third of four triad of blood red moons. The next and last will be in September. They are a harbinger of what going to come upon the Earth.

I want to wish everyone Happy Easter. I don't know how often I'll be in, have a sick puppy. He still doesn't eat but does drink water. DR. said no sign of any varmints (sp) in him or infection.
He didn't give him an antibiotic. have a couple cipro and thinking of giving him one as nothing else is working. DR. has given him cipro in the past. I am so tired, up all night with the poor baby. Amy gives him his Immodium but it does no good. I get weak fast! so all Have a happy day, hope the bunny is good to you.

Two years ago, I set about trying to find a way to let the Alexander family and the PT know that we here at WS cared. KCL helped facilitate getting those gifts from us to the Alexanders and The PT. Through corresponding with KCL, we became friends. Today, my DH and I had lunch with KCL and her fiancé, John and had the best time. She is as warm and lovely in person as she is through her pics. Her fiancé is super nice and kind and I love how he loves her.

I think another name for WS could be Friend.com, as that is how I feel about all of you. We have formed a really special bond here and I just wanted you all to know how much you all mean to me. Xo

ETA: Isn't Allie just a lovely young woman. She has eyes like Travis and I'm glad we could touch her heart.

Zuri, I am so envious that you have met our KatieCool and her beau! The pic is beautiful .... and that VB purse with the elephant is perfect! Was that one of the gifts? Oh Shadylady, I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved kitty. I know how heartbreaking it is, even though some believe they are just our "pets" what they don't realize is that they are in fact dear and very close members of our family. There is also a belief that they are Angels In Disguise, which I have no problem at all believing in. God Bless. ((((Hugs))).

Katie has inspired thousands of people who read here and her blog. She is the perfect example of how there is a season for every thing. She is now having the happy, full life her beloved sister would want for her. This is much like our hope for all of Travis' siblings that one fine day, with the grace of God, they will heal and go on to the next chapter to live the happy full lives Travis would want them to. I want them to be free of the bondage of the agony over how he died and just think only of the Travis they knew and loved.

Katie's happy ending is a rainbow after the storm of her sister's murder. When her book comes out I'll be first in line. Thank you for sharing Zuri. This just makes me smile. Inside and truly.
