I did it! I made a thread for the Jazz Fest in New Orleans! My favorite hang out is the blues tent or the gospel tent most of the time, but headliners... I'll be moving there. About 10 stages of music going at once, and over 70 artists per day! The New Orleans Jazz Fest's 2015 lineup features headliners Elton John, The Who, Ed Sheeran, Pitbull, Jimmy Buffett, Keith Urban, No Doubt, T.I. and Tony Bennett paired with Lady Gaga.

Also included on the roster for the 46th edition of the festival (April 24-26 and April 30-May 3 at the Fair Grounds) are Widespread Panic, Wilco, Maze, the O'Jays, Hozier, John Legend, Alison Krauss, Chicago, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Guy, Steve Winwood, Jimmy Cliff, Ryan Adams and Kacey Musgraves, plus Dr. John, the original Meters and hundreds of other Louisiana artists.

Two years ago, I set about trying to find a way to let the Alexander family and the PT know that we here at WS cared. KCL helped facilitate getting those gifts from us to the Alexanders and The PT. Through corresponding with KCL, we became friends. Today, my DH and I had lunch with KCL and her fiancé, John and had the best time. She is as warm and lovely in person as she is through her pics. Her fiancé is super nice and kind and I love how he loves her.

I think another name for WS could be Friend.com, as that is how I feel about all of you. We have formed a really special bond here and I just wanted you all to know how much you all mean to me. Xo

ETA: Isn't Allie just a lovely young woman. She has eyes like Travis and I'm glad we could touch her heart.

I hope everyone is having a great holiday. Eight more nights in Estrella for the convict, then it's off to her permanent home. This is the first time I've followed a trial from start to (almost) finish. What an education.

...I just put my beloved cat Tobi to sleep, I am beside myself....don't know what to do. He had been sick for a long time so my day to day resolved around him...I am lost.

Just catching up and so sorry to hear about Tobi. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

As others have mentioned.....the joy and happiness and fond memories that they brought into our lives is one of the gifts our pets give us that can never really be taken away.

I want to wish everyone Happy Easter. I don't know how often I'll be in, have a sick puppy. He still doesn't eat but does drink water. DR. said no sign of any varmints (sp) in him or infection.
He didn't give him an antibiotic. have a couple cipro and thinking of giving him one as nothing else is working. DR. has given him cipro in the past. I am so tired, up all night with the poor baby. Amy gives him his Immodium but it does no good. I get weak fast! so all Have a happy day, hope the bunny is good to you.

So sorry to hear of the sick puppy. Prayers for him to get better.

In the past year or so, I have seen very large moon on a couple occasions. Is it just me or does it seem like the moon has gotten much closer to the earth ?

I know it moves back out and only gets real close like that at certain times of the year but even so I never have ever noticed it as large as I have the past couple years.
It could be that I just never noticed it before.
