We are expecting bad weather later today and evening...severe storms, hail, high winds, possible tornados. Cold front moving in.

Our water heater is going out, time buy a new one. Bummer!

Today my DH turned 66. The kids will be here this evening (weather permitting) for a little get together. I had to buy decorations for his birthday. Great granddaughter said that I must get her Pop 'Ninja Turtles Party Fun'... 'cause he is a boy, not a girl!! That child is a hot mess The things we do for our grandkids

YESorNO, the 1970s were just a fashion tragedy, what can I say? Polyester everything, incredibly clunky shoes, really bad hair. But I still play disco music on my Walkman (shows how old school I am...I walk into the gym with my CD in my Walkman in my horrendous black fanny pack; everyone finds me quaint...lol).

I don't know I kind of like the 70's look. I like the bell bottoms and the cool flowy shirts the girls wore. I went to High School in the 80's and look back sometimes on those pictures of us as teens and think to myself... Good Lord! What were we thinking? lol Some of the ugliest clothes I have ever seen and.. ummm...Wore!!! BLEK!! lol

And please everyone, remember prayers for me too. My back muscles have been in spasms for two days. It's scary to be alone. DaisyMae, I'm sure praying for you. Wish we could all help you. I even have extra bedroom but couldn't walk to help you. I'm so sorry.

potentially bad weather heading our way, or we could escape the tornado warnings and it stays slightly north of us. I love bad storms!

Then you'd love to sit beside me on my porch swing , feel the downdraft of cool air, listen to the wind chimes starting to move slightly then more as the storm intensifies, thunder and lightening over and over and it's raining so hard you can't see the end of the driveway. It's awe inspiring.

Just wanted to stop by and check on everyone. I've been overly tired this week and its hard to concentrate when I'm like this. COPD ain't fun! And the baby is a teething 30 lb ball of energy who has learned how to swat me away and yet want me to hold him at the same time. At only 9 months he's still a baby even with his weight and he's having a tough time and so am I!

Prayers for all who need them, happy birthday to Bernina, and peace to all until Monday when hopefully Justice finally gets the final word.

No! COPD is not fun I am not a smoker...never was, so I was shocked when they told me last Oct. I had COPD. I've had asthma and chronic bronchitis for many years and it took its toll on my lungs. My doctor suggested that I go into Rehab for 8 weeks. Glad I did. I had classes 3 days week, after classes I exercised to strengthen my diaphragm. I learned about COPD, how to control, what the meds do for you and what signs indicate when I need start breathing treatments. I still do strengthening exercises. I would recommend anyone do the Rehab, if possible. I learned so much.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes for my Hubby. We had a nice time yesterday evening with the kids here. And he loved his Ninja Turtle theme Lizzy made us all hide so he would be 'scared' when we jumped out for Happy Birthday, well...she took it seriously...she went and hid and we had too go find her!!

I was sitting on the side walk last summer, pulling weeds from my rock garden and a frog/toad jumped out and landed on my face ! He was a little fella, but it scared the poop outta me nonetheless :scared:

Marc McGee's mother is lying outrageously in interviews. WOW how scary to see how these people are. She honest to God seems to not realize her son has been PROVEN to have made it all up. Frankly, she scares me as much as that Jodi Arias lunatic fanatic that was arrested for what he threatened to do to Nancy Grace and Jane Velez. It is so vile, and so egregious the lies she is telling here.....

She also seems to have no idea that her son claims to be a Mormon, the very faith she is dogging out. It is the oddest thing I have ever seen. Diane and Beth didn't even engage her, they just did that polite thing people do when someone is a little too drunk at a party....move away from them quickly rather than trying to reason with them.

I have an old picture of my brother and me where we just got back from a Disco. On the rare days when we got along, we would go to the club together to try to pick up girls...LOL

The picture shows us in silk shirts, extremely long hair, bell bottoms, and he has on a pair of those heels.....LOL

I never could get myself to go with those shoes with the heels, but I did do the bell bottoms and silk shirt and long hair "thing". LOL

Oh, and my bell bottoms in that pic were purple courderoy Levis. OMG :scared:

Dmacky, thank you for the well wishes. I get up a couple times a day to look at the posts on sidebar. My back really hurts and pain pills make me itch like crazy.

I have a question. I have had severe osteoporosis for about fifteen years and refuse to take meds. I have osteoarthritis all through my spine, they say. I heard you can take once a month shots for osteoporosis. Have any of you tried it? Is it a good thing? TIA.
