ITA~ There are social media sites to rant and rave about everyone who is a fault here. But, really it is Jodi's fault. She got M1, if she gets DP or not, she will be in prison forever. moo

That's how I feel, too. I have sorrow for the families and am skeeved out by JA, but I became SERIOUSLY uncomfortable over some of the uber angry posts and what worries me is that there are posters tend to "follow" the lead of those posters who are lashing out at people who are NOT Jodi Arias.

JA killed Travis. Nobody else. Not Kiefer, not Judge Stephens, not ANYONE. Jodi the murderer did this. Nobody else.

Steps off soapbox. :(

((((((((((Hugs)))))))))) Now I recognize you-- you posted that cute video of yourself watching the verdict. Sorry, I'm bad with names, but that was awesome. I have a daughter almost that age--I can't imagine--and I send you all of my sympathetic support via wifi and Tapatalk.

Ughhh that video :blushing: I thought my cousin was texting someone. I wanted to kill her.

IMO, that's a bit arbitrary. I mean, at what point do we decide her right to have her say has been fulfilled? When, legally speaking, is the time to fold up the tents?

Shurrf Joe said he couldn't squelch her rights to speak, but now she has and no more? If it is her right to speak, how does Joe decide that's enough?

I am pretty liberal, socially speaking, but why does a convicted felon have any rights at all anyway, other than basic human rights?

Makeup and lip-licking interviews are NOT basic human rights. She should NEVER have had the chance to entertain the media IN CIVVIES WITH MAKEUP in the first freaking place.

Jumpin' Jeebus.

Agreed, though the appearance of civie clothes was an illusion, which actually makes the situation worse.

It's crazy media hype that allows her to do this.

Please help me out I missed it today. There was an issue as far as what is life. And Wilmont said it is life forever and the prosecutor said she can be out on parole . what final words were sent back to the jury as to an explanation?

was it made clear to the jury that if they came back with life or disagreement it would go to the judge and she could possibly get 20 years? and then it would take up to 60 days and it would not be their decision to make?

While watching the millionth show about Jodi Ann Arias, I had an idea about one of the reasons why she might have killed Travis (in addition to jealousy), and why the subject is so engrossing.

So many people see through JA, and pretty much dismiss her, avoid her, and tell others to get the hell away from her.

By murdering Travis so heinously, Jodi made it so no one could dismiss her any longer. Now we are forced to pay attention, if only to make sure that Travis gets justice.

Once that is done, Jodi will once again be avoided like the plague.

You've got me beat! I'm the youngest of seven, with three big sisters and three big brothers, but my closest brother in age is ten years older than me.
Being so much older, my brothers were very protective of me, but one of them "hired" me to help him with his paper route when I was 4 and he was 14. I helped him by sitting in the basket of his bicycle and handing him the papers to throw. I still have flashbacks of him speeding over the hilly neighborhood while I bounced up and down in that basket, holding on for dear life.

For that, I was paid one piece of candy a week.

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:
OMG. I guess it is because I can so relate, but I was actually laughing so hard at this I cried! I can TOTALLY picture this scenario happening to me!

My Oldest brother is 8 1/2 years older than me. My mom was hitting almost one child per year for a while there! Then me, first girl (my mom wanted me all frills and lace which my older brothers apparently saw as a challenge to keep me "rough and tumble enough" to balance it all out). Overall they were protective of me, but I was also the victim/guinea pig in many of their "grand ideas". Too young to have the sense to say HECK NO! OMG we laugh so hard remembering the crazy stuff we did :floorlaugh:

The only other toy that was more dangerous was Lawn Jarts. Remember those?!

They were like mini daggers that you throw across your lawn and they would stick in to the ground... unless of course you have bad aim, then people would be impaled.

I use to like the tether ball!

Interesting theory. I like.

Jodi brutally killed Travis to get the attention she has been craving? ... good one. :rocker:

FNC: Troy Hayden http://www.myfoxphoenix.com/story/2...-speaks-out-to-choice-media-before-sentencing

Then there's this one with The Associated Press we haven't seen yet:

Arias said she wanted at least three people called as witnesses who could have testified to having seen bruises on her neck "when I was choked out" by Alexander but she said she was rebuffed by her lawyers. The prosecutor insisted her self-defense claims were an exaggerated attempt to avoid being convicted.

She said her lawyers "felt a little betrayed" and blindsided by her post-conviction interview but that they gave their blessings for Tuesday night's interviews, warning her to be cautious.

Arias said she sometimes wishes she'd never met Alexander, "just because of how ultimately everything ended and I say that for his sake and mine — not just a selfish thing."

She said if the attack never occurred and she never crossed paths with the victim, she would likely now be a happily married 32-year-old with children, good finances and a successful wedding photography business.

:floorlaugh: yes! Funny as rusty monkey bars, metal slides on a hot August day, or concrete playground surfaces!!!! :floorlaugh:

Holy cow! How did we survive? :floorlaugh:

BBM
Show of hands, who got grounded for taking the whole roll of waxed paper to the park so you could catch some air by sitting on it to go down the slide?
"Da*n it! Who took the waxed paper AGAIN?"
:floorlaugh:

So after deliberating the whole day, the general consensus is that it was a juror question about verdict protocol, and not a true deadlock? JSS made a mistake or assumed the jury was saying they were deadlocked, or they asked for some clarification?

I'm confuzzled.
