Close up! No #3 yet (as you can see).

The names suggested are cute! How about Yes, No, Maybe? Or you may change your minds when you see the pics. I numbered them in order of birth. #2 has its butt up in the air! lol

OMG how cute!!! It's going to be great to watch them change. I love baby animals!!!!

I’d like to give a HUGE FU to Donald Trump! If he believes the greatest country in the world is a Hell Hole then why is he living here? If you don’t like it here DT leave!

I agree grammie..and don't DO let the door hit him in the arse and knock his ridiculous looking comb-over out of place.
 Donald said wants to be President so HE can make the county great again.

I honestly despise this egotistical man. He thinks he's the most intelligent and talented person on this Earth. His inflated opinion of himself makes me ill. He reminds me of a great big bully.

Zuri ~ I agree with Curious, I too think what you did for "said poster" was amazing! Not only that, but the all the thoughtful gifts you sent anonymously to the Alexander family, along with JM and Det. Flores. I know that took you a lot of thought, time and effort and I'm glad that "said poster" called you out on that. I never had any doubt it was you, as I remember you doing so many acts of kindness.

I have read so many missing children threads that I cannot remember exactly who it was, but Tricia was asking members for donations of food and drink for a search party, and there you were again, calling and donating pizza's, salads, 2 liters of drinks and also bottled water. And to be quite honest, I don't believe that was the only time I've seen you donate food.
You are truly a beautiful person Zuri, inside and out. We are all blessed to have met you :loveyou:

Oh Dmacky, your kind words are so appreciated. I feel blessed to have so many friends here and feel like I belong to something truly miraculous and special. Years ago, there was a bumper sticker that came out that said something like "Practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty". I adopted that as my creed and mission statement.

Giving from the heart is something that all of us are capable of doing and typically we do, expecting nothing in return. I am blessed that I have the ability to be able to give monetarily, since I can't give of myself like I used to before 2009. I think, like many of you, that we give on a daily basis, whether it is complimenting someone or simply by smiling and saying a warm hello. Being kind doesn't take much energy and I wish the world could be a kinder, gentler place.

It is I, who is blessed to have you all here, as your kindness has helped me through some very dark days. Xo

Oh! I know that, Zuri .... But I thought the other person was also a poster somewhere. "Newly married" is our friend! Other "poster" was how I referred to the other person. Couldn't even stick around for that beautiful shower? What a slap that must have felt like. Just let her go .... I am sure she realizes how hurt newly-married was by her attitude.

Spellbound, thank you for your words of wisdom. The "foul friend" doesn't post here fortunately. I reached out to said foul friend through IM on FB, and implored her to be kind enough to be supportive with a post or kind word as our friend embarked on her journey to get married. She copied my message and sent it to our friend as she boarded the plane. My message was kind, yet she made it ugly. Who does that? Even in her forwarding my message, she did not express happiness for our friend. She did it only to be antagonistic and mean. There was nothing. I guess I have a hard time with passive aggressive people, who only want you to be there for them, and not be there for you. It is a shame, as the foul friend has now lost a good friend.

Did Sheriff Joe ever release the reports we were waiting for on Jodi? Just wondering. :)

That's what I've been wondering too..........

Brrrrr! It's 49 degrees here this morning. Pulled out my warm winter fuzzy housecoat :)

Yes, the babies are UGLY (I told ya'll they were). I can see the nest as I wash dishes and was watching Momma last night. About every 10-15 minutes, she would fly off, be gone about 5 minutes and come back with food for them. I could see the beaks of the babies, opened wide and Momma feed them. Was fun and interesting watching them. Haven't checked this am see if the third baby has hatched. She was feeding. Will check later...

We need think up some names for these little fellows....any suggestions? When I sent the pic to my daughter she asked, "what did I name her new brothers/sisters"! LOL

I think we're all kind of ugly when we first hatch. :floorlaugh:

Speaking of birds: as promised...

After brushing my dog, Daisy, I put some handfuls of her soft undercoat in a suet basket and hung it near the feeders. The bird found it, as you can see in this pic!

It's beyond comprehension the platforms that some media outlets give complete a-holes. I could never get past that bad hair or petulant lips, everything he's said just gets lost as my mind goes to "this guy has the looks for Clown College, did he forget his red rubber nose?"

LOL speaking of DT's hair. My little Benji's right ear goes completely over his head to his left ear. It look just like DT's hair only cuter and so funny. It's so hard to talk to Benji seriously when he's done something he shouldn't do. He just looks so darn cute as he turns his head in that cute way puppies have.

Hey all!

I'm so behind, but that looks like an Acuba to me, Niner. Actually I think technically it may be spelled "Aucuba", but in my younger days of working at a nursery we spelled it Acuba. LOL
They are generally used as landscape shrubs. I could be wrong, but that's what they look like to me. Are you asking because you're having problems with them ?

Thanks neesaki - I think you are right - I sent a link to the Huz; and yes, we were having problems with these plants - this one started to have black on their leaves - it was sitting in the sun all day and found out it's a "shade" plant!

Totally agree! You have a heart of gold!!

Won't be winning any beauty contests for awhile, that's for sure....but aw, how sweet! About names: You could go with a whole "Robin"hood thing and stick with Maid Marian, Little John, Friar Tuck...etc etc. :)

cj...loved the quotes; big laughs this morning...thanks! :loveyou:

Niner...pulling for your brother! Prayers and hugs. :heartbeat:

Zuri...sounds like the "friend" in question is burning up with resentment and jealousy. Too bad. Her loss. I'm so happy for the bride and groom! mr. dood and I married after a whirlwind courtship (five months) and have been together 19 years. Everyone said we would fail (being the third time around for both of us)...to which I say: View attachment 75043

ILiketoBendPages...well, you are amazing. And I thought I had grown up in Dysfunction Junction! Wow. What a story. ((HUG))

Thank you jane the dood for the prayers for my bro! My Huz and I too had a whirlwind courtship! Married after only five months - have been married 25 years this coming August! One of my best friends said it wouldn't last... pfft!!

Spellbound, the poster is our friend, who we all love. It is her "friend" who has the issue.

You are so sweet CII. Thank you for the compliment! I think that "friend" is cruel as well and she has done some of the cruelest, meanest things I have ever known a grown woman to do, who professed to be her "friend".
Thanks Zuri. I read GigiG's reply to you and thought it was really wonderful and me being so direct, I never thought of that. My concern with this so called "friend" is that she may not respond to a higher goodness. Kinda like Jodi....she has nothing inside, nothing to respond from.

Just be happy that God made you special, that you intuitively sense the needs of others and respond to those needs. The world would be so beautiful with more people like you.

Hahaha....reminds me of my hubby. When we see a newborn I always say how cute they are, while my husband says there is "another one that looks like Winston Churchill".

Pages, twice in my young life I, too, planned my escape. Once from home, once from hospital (tonsils removed) -- and both at about age six. But I had to walk, no horses to rustle in the "city".

Coffee...... Here to listen whenever you need, here to hug and support always.

When I think of growing up the way as the four of us did, and then I think of Travis and how his brothers and sisters lived, and think it was never as bad as that.

Travis did escape to a life he deserved. And then he met Jodi - who, according to which side of her mouth she's talking out of, had a nice life, karate and piano lessons, an accomplished artist in high school and ex change student who had her own car, in her first trial. To her dysfunctional family made her do it in her second, and I think if you only knew what we went through, it was far worse than what you claim as an excuse to accuse Travis of his own murder, which he didn't deserve.
