Ditto with burgers on the grill.

When out and about for fast food, I have found that Braum's Ice Cream store has good hamburgers and french fries so I try to go there.

They take a little longer than typical fast food places but not much longer and I get it "to go".

I think they are just in some midwestern states.

My favorite burger is from our Daly's. A long time ago it was a drive-in and we had several of them but now there is only one. I don't get there very often. sigh...... might have to make a trip soon. Plain, well-done cheeseburger. yummy

Hey everyone, Good morning :-) I am in need of some advice, maybe just some encouragement :/ Am I expecting too much from Benji? And he’s very smart. I feel so bad for complaining about him, he’s sooooo sweet! The other day my Vet told me about Nature’s Miracle. So I bought a bottle and last night I mopped the whole living room, and kitchen, this morning I get up and Benji peed in the dining room. The room I did not use NM in, so it does work. We have two doggie doors he learned how to use them right away. He knows where to do his business, so WHY doesn’t he do it every time. I’m not a yeller, and of course we do not hit, the only thing I do is talk with him, tell him “ Benji no”, He knows what NO means, if he’s chewing on something that is not his to chew on all I have to do is say Benji no and he stops. I don’t know, I’m thinking maybe I’m missing something, not doing something. Anyway thanks for listening :)  I appreciate all advice, suggestions.

21 Interesting Facts About Dreams

7.Sleepwalking is a potentially dangerous sleep disorder, those people often get out of bed and begin to move around the room during sleep, some of them even will leave home or make some dangerous moves. There is such a cause, while sleepwalking a man drove 22 miles to his relative’s house and killed his cousin. How is it possible? This is horrible!

Respectively snipped by me for space for content

cj, I was fascinated by your 21 facts about dreams. When I read number 7, I actually remembered that happening, but it was his mother-in-law he had killed. I started looking for info about it online, so I googled "sleepwalking murder" and this came up.
IMAGINE my surprise when I saw a very familiar looking inmate data search at the bottom of the page!
https://mylifeofcrime.wordpress.com...ng-convicted-of-her-murder-sentenced-to-lwop/

So after seeing that of course, I googled Scott Falater. Well friends, I about peed in my pants when I saw this youtube from the 1979 trial.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnuHNtGogYw

The one I was actually looking for was Kenneth Parks, who drove 14 miles and killed his mother in law, and severely injured his father in law. He was acquitted.

https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/the-superhuman-mind/201212/sleep-driving-and-sleep-killing

There have been 7 defense cases of sleepwalking murders.

Love Peter Graves- too bad he smoked! But I get Mission Impossible reruns of the early series on ME TV channel, Sunday nights! I used to watch it and Get Smart and James Bond spy movies with my dad when I was little. Unfortunately I don't think my dad would still remember to share those memories with me now, but I make DH & DD watch them sometimes! Best part was when they ripped their faces off.

Also, DH agrees that Peter Graves was James Arness's brother, not John Wayne's. He does resemble James Arness more facially.

BBM: That is correct. "Googled it". John Wayne had one sib, a brother named Robert Emmet Morrison.

You are so bad. My dh told a fellow worker that was going to the stock room for florescence light tubes to ask the stock clerk if they had any fallopian tubes in stock. I told he he should be ashamed.

I've got to remember that one, LOL!

I've always had hardest time housetraining male dogs--so much so I will never ever own a male dog. That said I also think part could be in marking territory-- claiming it as theirs. My sister is having problems with her son's lab -and the lab is female. She can go outside go spotty then spotty by door. So I don't know what to offer.

DH is currently trying to litterbox DD bunny (I think he is trying to take over said Bunny but.....) I d rather have a dog--never seen DH this attached to an animal. Go figure

Yeah I had a crush on Peter Graves. I heard long ago the Duke was a Duchess!..We watched years ago also. My DH liked the Cisco Kid. Hey Cisco! Hey Poncho! Don't make 'em like that anymore..

BBM: I loved that show, and the Lone Ranger, they were before my time, but they were shown Saturday afternoons when I was little. I thought the Cisco Kid was just an Arizona thing, like the Lew King Rangers Show.

I enjoy shopping at my Walmart as long as I get there around 8 a.m.

I think I've only seen one "odd" kind of person in the Walmart here, not the kind of one's you see on the People at Walmart pics. I think it was just some kind of joke. At least I HOPE it was. Some middle aged guy wearing cutoffs with his briefs over them, a pair of women's heels, a teeny crop top muscle shirt, and a pink florescent boa. I guess the straw cowboy hat kind of pulled the outfit together?

I dunno, is that the current fashion for "city slickers"? :floorlaugh: Ok, I joke!

Oh Grammie, I do not envy you at all! I am an avid animal lover, but I will never have another puppy. Actually, my dog was the easiest pup I have ever had to potty train. BUT she was the worst with many other things. I have never had a doggie door, so this may not help you. What I used was a leash and treats in my coat pocket as it was winter when I got her. Anyway, I would take her out several times a day and she could hear me break the treats up (she learned that sound fast!) I would say pee pee. When she eventually peed, I would immediately give her a treat, and praise her. When I would actually catch her peeing in the house, I would say NO, pick her, take her out and say...you pee pee outside. Of course as soon as she finished she would get the treat and another good girl!
It didn't take her long before she would sit at the front door. I swear she only peed in my house 4 times as a pup and has never done it again. Same with poop. It's a lot easier to teach them if you actually see them doing it. Pups take a while to learn to "hold" their pee.
I am off to the dentist right now, so I can't reply any more, but I will catch back up when I get home!

If you catch him in the "act", use a tin can with rocks and shake it. It's the only thing that'll stop them mid stream that I've found. And praise the heck out of him when he goes outside to take care of business.
I've always used the word "OUT" instead of "NO". The word kind of sounds like a weird yelp to them. They all know the difference between "OUT" and Outside". Picked that up from a neighbor long ago who trained police dogs.

Hi grammie, does it help any to know you are not alone? We have the same problem with Mollie. If I tell her about it she rolls over flat on her back and wants to play! she is about two years old, should know better .I am keeping her in my bedroom a lot, door closed. I spend my day in here. In kitchen I have a long leash. I hook her up when I'm working around. If we go shopping etc. she goes in her crate. We take her outside every
two hours. She has not peed in the house for over a week. I don't know if she would if not watched we must try her and see. She came from "Happy Angels" a tear maker...what a site! I find it hard to even raise my voice after reading that page. She really is happy go lucky here. What a hoot! I trained my baby Red in two weeks!! She also knows "no", they are smart!! :beagle:

Why Aren't The Aliens Here Already? :abduction:

"...What Fermi realized in his burst of insight was simple: If the universe was teaming with intelligent technological civilizations, why hadn't they already made it to Earth? Indeed, why hadn't they made it everywhere?
This question, known as "Fermi's paradox" ..."

http://www.npr.org/sections/13.7/2015/05/27/409670639/why-arent-the-aliens-here-already

Fermi paradox

"...The Fermi paradox (or Fermi's paradox) is the apparent contradiction between high estimates of the probability of the existence of extraterrestrial civilization and humanity's lack of contact with, or evidence for, such civilizations...

In the above Wiki article, I thought this was interesting, but unlikely- just call me skeptical- (this is not a Men In Black movie after all): :alien3:

"They do exist, but we see no evidence: :ufo:

It may be that technological extraterrestrial civilizations exist but that human beings cannot communicate with them because of constraints such as problems of scale or technology. Perhaps their nature is too alien for meaningful communication or their methods of communication are too alien to even be recognized as technology. Even on our own planet, there are immense differences between a blue whale and a common ant. The differences may be even greater between human beings and members of extraterrestrial civilizations. Perhaps, also, they may not wish to communicate with us...." :alien:

I always thought we would be more advanced by now- sort of like the Jetson's with the cars that you wouldn't have to park because you could fold it up into your briefcase (I hate parking), or Star Trek with their food replicators, and where's my Rosie robot to do all the housework? :tantrum:

Loved the Lone Ranger :cowboy: , Roy Rogers (especially Clara Belle-the jeep), Sky King, Zorro, and I do remember the Cisco Kid!

Here's a picture of me in one of my tap dance outfits - can't remember the "theme" on this one! Something to do with the military? My mother sewed all our costumes!

Your mom did a great job on this!

Hi again - okay everyone - I need your prayers for my little bro! :praying:
GF left a message on my sister's voice mail saying that little bro was throwing up blood and had taken him to the emergency room at UCLA. Here's an email I just got from my sister, per telephone conversation with my little bro's girlfriend.

Jr is in the surgery section at the UCLA hospital. The first thing they're going to try to do is stop the bleeding and as part of that procedure, they're going to do a biopsy at 1:30 pm, approximately 3 hours from now.

The x-rays show a large mass in his liver extending into his stomach. But UCLA says cancer can't be definitely diagnosed and staged until a biopsy has been done.

After the procedures this afternoon, he will be transferred to the cancer center.

Apparently, everyone at UCLA has been professional, positive and supportive. Terre says he is in a hospital suite that's like a deluxe apartment.

They say they will give him the best care possible, but so far are unwilling to give a prognosis or a life expectancy estimate.

He has a direct line, and we called and tried to speak with him. But his throat is so sore and he is so weak, he could only whisper a one or two word response.

Terre said she would keep us advised.

:praying: :crossfingers:
