Pages, I am so sad and sorry you were here mostly alone last night. I know you adore little Lilly. I am just a bit confused.... you have no concern the new father is involved, do you? It sounds as though you are all more worried about the new dad's mother. Do I have that right?

I am praying and will be here for you. May little Lily get through this with no lasting effects and thrive in a better environment ASAP. Such a tiny sweet baby.

Pages,
It's so sad to read your post. I remember when little Lily was born and how excited you were!
I tell you what, I don't know which one is responsible for hurting (and I use that word lightly) that innocent precious 3 month old baby, but may they burn in hell :furious:

Even if it is the 300 lb. "disabled" woman that CAN climb 3 flights of stairs, then her son (baby daddy) is JUST as guilty as she is for covering up for her. OR vice versa  So may they both burn in hell. I hope I'm not offending anyone, because that is MILD as to what I really want to say

Prayers for the sweet INNOCENT DEFENSELESS baby girl. :heartbeat:

Reflections of an Alzheimer's Spouse

"...Alzheimer's caregivers go through a roller coaster of emotions as we care for our loved ones and grieve for their loss at the same time. Anger, anxiety, depression, frustration, grief, loneliness, regret, sadness... these are just some of the many emotions I may experience on any given day. My emotions are never far from the surface and it takes very little to push me to tears about what has already happened to our marriage, or what lies ahead for Clare and me in the near future. I love Clare so deeply and miss her so much that listening to a song on the radio or watching a TV show can trigger unexpected tears...."

Reflections of an Alzheimer's Spouse... Acceptance

"...Acceptance means that I must learn to live with this reality. I must learn how to get on with my life without having Clare by my side. I must accept that Clare and I are no longer a "we." Those "we" days are gone. I know that. Especially since Clare's placement in an assisted living facility nearly two years ago, Clare now has her own future, apart from me. And I now have my own future, apart from Clare. So having accepted that, why has it been so difficult for me to move on? Why is acceptance of my new reality still so difficult to... accept?..."

Stunning Images Tell The Story Of What It's Really Like To Love Someone With Dementia

"When his father, Ronnie, was diagnosed with dementia four years ago, Mark Seymour knew there was something he had to do. "I knew I'd like to document it because it would tell a story," Seymour, a UK-based photographer told The Huffington Post.

So Seymour took to his camera to capture his father's final years, showing Ronnie around the house, in his care facility, playing the harmonica and still being loved by and cared for by his wife, Winnie. Though there's no doubt that the memory-robbing disease is devastating both for sufferers and families, the photos capture Ronnie's inspiring and unwavering resilience..."

They're taking Lily in to surgery. Someone rammed something down her throat, cutting it up . New daddy said he was giving her a bath and she spit up blood, and that he got the sucker thing and was suctioning her out a lot of blood came up and he called 911. It was just new daddy and his mother in the apartment a that time. Little mama was at work and my sister had spoke with her before eleven and all was fine, something happened to Lily around that time. Please continue your prayers for our Lily, her mama, and Loli -Pop, they need it.

There's a special place in hell for people who hurt children.
I hope the person responsible gets prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Some people don't deserve to breath the same air we breath.

Watch People Try Nutraloaf, The Controversial Prison Food That's Been Called 'Cruel'

"...Nutraloaf is universally reviled. Prisoners in several states, including Illinois, Maryland, Nebraska, New York and Washington, have even sued over Nutraloaf or its equivalent, claiming that the punitive food is so awful that it’s unconstitutional. Following a 2008 lawsuit in Vermont, the state’s supreme court ruled that inmates have to be given a hearing before Nutraloaf is doled out as punishment..."

Nutraloaf

"...There are many recipes which include a range of food, from vegetables, fruit, meat, and bread or other grains. The ingredients are blended and baked into a solid loaf. In one version, it is made from a mixture of ingredients that include ground beef, vegetables, beans, and bread crumbs. Other versions include mechanically separated poultry and "dairy blend".[4]...

In April 2010, sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County Arizona won a federal judgment in favor of the constitutionality of nutraloaf.[12]

Amen to that Bernina! It absolutely breaks my heart to hear/read about anyone DELIBERATELY harming a defenseless child or animal. That's a whole new level of evil!
