Last night I successfully took my 4th stand up shower, but I do keep the seat in there just in case I start to slip. And I've started exercising my arm/shoulder!

Took at peek at the bird babies and they are so tiny ... mother bird wasn't too happy so I backed off.

I had just bought bags of bug killer for the yard but think I'll postpone throwing it down because mom bird might get something that is dying to feed the babies. And wanted to ask if it would be a good idea to put a yard umbrella over the bush to keep them dry when it rains. The bush is not tall less than 6' high.

Make sure they have plenty of food as CPS will check for that.

Daisymae, the less you "alter" the nest, the better. They are well prepared for the rain -- no umbrella needed. It is amazing to watch how they care for their nesting babies. Enjoy!

We found out that new daddy bonded out this morning. He was under a $35,000 bond. So he's out on a $3,500 until he goes to court. He has been charged with injury to a child, and there are other sections and sub section under that. It is considered a first degree felony and can bring a sentence up to 2 to 99 years, and a $10,000 fine. If he can get it down to second degree it's about the same. I keep wondering if there is more that made the first degree the choice, instead of second or third? In thinking back $35,000 seems low for a first degree felony. That's one step under capital murder.


We have no new news about Lily. CPS was to of given Loli-Pop a code to use when they called to check on Lily, but they haven't got back with their attorney yet. Loli-Pop, and little mama are having a home inspection tomorrow by CPS. Hopefully we're one step closer to getting our baby girl home.

Have you gone online for your State's Revised Statutes? You can pretty much find out just what the charges entail.
Someone had to post collateral for the rest of the bond. They probably figure he isn't a flight risk and it could be his first arrest. And.........who knows if there might be additional or multiple counts tacked on?
Prosecutors charge high to give a little wiggle worm for plea deals in a lot of cases. And Lily is still in the hospital so LE is just covering themselves.
Whoever's responsible...........I just hope they get the max.
I have no pity for anyone who hurts a child. If it were up to me, they'd go in front of a firing squad. JMO.

Am I the only one who has recently listened to the Arias trial tapes to listen to Arias in her frail I'm a victim voice Blaw, Blaw, Blaw weaving her practiced BS against Travis......it is so satisfying to know how all that baloney went over with the jury. I hope she is real nice and warm and I mean really warm in her tiny cubicle and she can reflect on her years ahead of nothingness she so deserves.

Just wanted to say, very heart wrenching about the shootings in SC this past week.
I really have a hard time believing that there are people out there who still hold onto racist ideologies.
Hasn't the Nation evolved? Who are the people that keep this kind of hatred alive?
I saw some clips this past week on Faux News....and they were trying to say it was NOT a hate crime. Out of all the churches that murderer drove by to get to his final destination, why did he not stop at one of them?
I guess his FB/blog whatever, was VERY specific and Faux still wanted to put their spin on it. And they didn't use the term "t**g" when referring to him.:gaah:

He has been charged with INJURY CHILD/ELDERLY/DISABLE RECKLESS SBI/MENTAL . It's a first class felony two to twenty if convicted, but I see an attorney getting it bought down to probably negligence and probation.

I do feel sorry for him, and I want to think that he didn't do it ,and his mother did. He has a better mugshot than Jodi, and he does look better in orange.

Today was his 24th birthday.

My father was one. But it wasn't just blacks. He hated everyone. He hated hippies. Guess what I became?

He marched and attended riots in many cities. I remember his uniform. Such hate. God's sense of humor? He died on MLK's birthday 1995.
