I have used Family Search and it's very informative- found lots of my family's genealogy thingys there. :)

Just another excuse for the LDS church to perform baptisms for the dead. Every single name will be baptized by proxy.....because until every person on the face of the earth has received the Gospel of the Mormons, Jesus is going to be a no-show.
Washington and Lincoln made a personal appearance down at the Mesa Temple and got baptized about 30 years ago.
So.....just a heads up, when you die, the Mormons WILL baptize you whether you like it or not. I believe they only have to wait for your death certificate to be 50 years old. And a good thing they allowed the descendants of Cain (according to Mormons he was cursed with black skin when he was expelled from the Garden) to receive the Priesthood and attend and participate in Temple activities, back in the 1980's.

Sorry, MAJOR SNARK. Just not a good day.......all the same, that stuff is true. And animals don't have souls so they don't go to heaven.
Betcha my mom is first in line to be a proxy.....she's loca in the cabaza.

If you're using Chrome, Java has to be tweeked. There's some issues between the 2 companies and the current Java update has to have the old versions removed from your computer and an add-on put in place for Chrome to run properly. Java is no longer making a Chrome specific version.

Checking Twitter and found this (the murderer has married her most devoted fan on Twitter, Marling :silly: )

I have a tip that may help if people are running into the trouble I am having with getting pages to load all the way.

My problem has been when I go to a page it only loads about 1/2 the posts and then seems to get "stuck". So instead of waiting what I do is I click on a previous different page and then click right back to the page I really want.

It seems to help because it seems to then load the page I want and gets it loaded all the way to the bottom.

Thought I would share this "workaround" that I have found helps me.

Does this mean, you click "back" to a previous page, or click on another open thread if you have multiples opened? I usually go to my subscribed list and open several tabs. So when I go to a thread-tab there would be no previous page? I will be glad to try anything! This is my most frustrating issue at the moment (and the disappearing thanks button)

Just in case some people are missing tomorrow - just wanted to wish everyone

I know he mentioned ulcers in that one statement and those can be nasty things----wow! I've never stopped praying for that family

Update on Steven:

No wonder he is losing weight and he probably does have an ulcer from the h-pylori infection.
My husband and I, both have had this bug and it is cleared up by massive doses of antibiotics, but if he allergic to them???
There must be something else that he can use to destroy the infection. Hope it hasn't developed into cancer, but Tanisha hasn't said that.

ZURI!!! Where are you girl What else can he take?

Helicobacter Pylori Infections

"Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a type of bacteria that causes infection in the stomach. It is found in about two-thirds of the world's population. It may be spread by unclean food and water, but researchers aren't sure. It causes Peptic ulcers and can also cause stomach cancer...."

1976 - - Israel launches rescue of 103 Air France crew & passengers being held at Entebbe Airport in Uganda by pro-Palestinian hijackers

Operation Entebbe, codename Operation Thunderbolt, is sometimes referred to retroactively as Operation Jonathan in memory of the unit's leader, Yonatan Netanyahu. He was the older brother of Benjamin Netanyahu, the current Prime Minister of Israel.

1965 - Trigger (25), the golden palomino horse of Roy Rogers, died. Trigger was mounted by Bishoff's Taxidermy of California and were on display for years at the Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Museum in Victorville, California. The original Trigger is currently on display at The Roy Rogers - Dale Evans Museum in Branson, Missouri. In 2010 Trigger, along with his saddle, took top dollar at an auction of memorabilia.

My thanks button is gone again, and I can't seem to get it back. I wanted to thank a lot of the recent posts, so just know that I have read everything. Y/N, thank you especially for the update on Steven. I hope they can find a cure for him. No wonder he has always looked so frail.

Mo special plans for tomorrow. Maybe we will walk uptown to watch the small parade here. Have a safe and happy 4th, everyone. My dog is already hiding out from the early firecrackers nerArby's. I wish it was all confined to one night. I hate my babies being this afraid. I read that many service people are also bothered by the unexpected blasts... and would appreciate fewer neighborhood booms.

Spellie - if you have a box fan handy, run it near where the dogs are as it blocks out a little of the noise. Or a window AC. I never turn my box fan off.

Has the thanks button moved for anyone else? Mine is now on the bottom left corner of the post. That just changed today at some point.

Hmmm, I finally found the thank button ----- way over there on the left next tot he report button again. I guess changes are being implemented.
