CofeeJ and Dmacky ..... remind which states you are in, please. Are you south of me (Michigan)?

Those are some weird hats. No wonder I never liked to wear a hat.

I'm in Indiana and yes, that is south of you. I've got my meds in a box and other things may need if we need go to the basement. We already have severe storms alerst by the weather center. First round is on its way. Be here in about an hour or so. Strong winds in this first wave. Then the 'bad boy of storms' will be here this evening. We hardly ever get this type of storms (DERECHOS - LONG LIVED AND WIDESPREAD WIND STORMS)...It is already clouding up and the winds have picked up some. It's so humid it takes your breath away! I'm not liking this at all...

Already battened down the hatches on the back porch. Got Little Bubby's calming pills ready and I am ready as I will ever be.

It's heading to my neighboring state of KY (where Dmacky lives) after its done here...

Terrified we are going to lose electricity!! 70 mile an hour winds...takes me back to Sept. 2008 wind storm...courtesy of Hurricane Ike :scared:

Be safe my little buddy cj. I have forgotten what city you're in? I am in northern Kentucky, close to the Ohio River bridge into southern Indiana.

Glad you checked in, Dmacky. I have been wondering how it is your way. Please be prepared for anything that may come your way. Stay safe!

Aww, your sweet Spell  It looks like nighttime here, but no rain for me yet.
I'm so happy you and Bravo got to meet up...I'm still jealous.

Didn't watch it last night, but planning to today sometime.

I hadn't followed that case, but did read about it. I tell ya what Neeski, after watching last night (thanks for the heads up) I'm not so sure anymore.
Her husband flunked a polygraph, and there was a lot of things that the public or the jury didn't know about.

We aren't that far apart. Maybe we need a road trip? (I hate driving unfamiliar roads, tho). I loved our one trip through part of Kentucky, but weren't there mountain we had to drive on? I closed my eyes in those areas :giggle:

I know what you mean, dmacky. I feel sure she's guilty about 90% of the time. Her demeanor and her not trying to help, hold, comfort her own child while he was dying was always a very big issue with me. She seemed more concerned with herself, jmo.

Then I hear something else, and I have some doubts. One will say the jury didn't see all the information, then another one will say they did. Then there's that author that claims the photos were hidden and the jurors didn't really see them, and they didn't see the other video of the memorial. Why? Maybe that jury didn't go through all the evidence as thoroughly as they should have. Maybe they let others on the jury bully them into a verdict. Which is certainly nothing new to us here is it ? And I have had suspicions about her husband Daryn for a long time. Either he knows more than he admits, or he is guilty of something more. JMO

Hope everyone is doing well and stays safe in these violent storms. From the news, the skies look ominous.

I finished the KonMari Method tidying book. It actually had some very helpful tidbits and her approach makes a lot of sense. She has some great points:

Discard first
Find a storage spot for every item, not using the junk drawer method.
Don't tidy one room at a time, tidy all at once.
Have respect for every item you own as you worked for the money to buy it.
Do not pile anything up.
Use vertical storage, folding clothes in a rectangle.

I have figured out why I have so much clutter and now know how to address it as I have identified the cause. This was huge. She says it takes about 6 months to discard and tidy and that is in a Japanese home, which may be 4 rooms or so. Well I have a few more than 4 rooms, so I figure it will take me a year lol.

Hi Zuri , I'm right up there with you when it comes to cleaning. Harder also when you cant work the way you want to. I cant lift over 10lbs.. I just bought a new shredder so will be busy. I remember when I'd clean the whole house in one day and I cry. I cant do that anymore. I thank God for my granddaughter. We also have more than four rooms ..Since I am older I also realize there is more to life than cleaning, I want it neat but I don't kill myself. My cousin , 2 years older than me is so tired from cleaning. Of course one could perform surgery in her kitchen not to worry over infection>>>>>it aint there.:laughcry:

You stay safe too!!!! We were lucky, we missed the bullet in the first round...just some rain and wind. Nothing much. But still calling for the big one later this evening.

I'm more Southern In. About 45 miles N of the Ohio River. Not that far at all from you :)

Spell - No, not mountains in this area or KY. We do have hills and so does KY. Mountains more in TN. You go through the Hoosier Forest before you reach KY and the Forest has some big hills in them :) You think you are in the mountains!

Here's some pics of this afternoon storms that hit more N of me:

I've never been sure about this one. I just don't know. It seems to me that there was reasonable doubt, though.

I found it heartbreaking that their sole surviving son, Drake, was diagnosed with leukemia back in 2013(?).

According to a Facebook page devoted to his struggle, he seems to be doing well:

I have always felt that Darlie Routier did not kill her sons, she may have acted badly after the funerals, but that was poor judgment and grief IMO. I always leaned toward her husband. Maybe she covered up for him?? Strange case... Plus, the so many mistakes by the police and the courts.

Darlie's own attorney Doug Muldar did't introduce the video. He just used it trying to make LE the bad guys. There is a lot of miss information from the poor Darlie is innocent site. If Darin did kill the boys, why has Darlie been a suffering saint all these years? When she could be out taking care of her remaining son, Drake? No, Darlie is right where she belongs . There was one male juror that said he never saw the photos of the brushing on Darlie arm, and if he had he would of voted differently. The photos were introduced and the jury saw them, I guess he wasn't paying attention that day..

On the Baby Ember thread , her daddy stole a car at gunpoint this morning and LE tracked him and there has been a shoot out. Some say Matthew Graham is dead. His seven month old daughter "was kidnapped, stolen, taken" sometime between 10:30 pm and he discovered her missing around 5:00am while in his care, and hasn't been found yet. I hope he left a note telling where he dumped her little body. His wife, was packing to move back in with him that night while he kept Ember, who suffered from seizures and woke every two hours to eat. He called her "it" during a police interview. He was smoking "wax" that night.

CJ and Dmacky, my question was in response to Pages' post on a case I have not followed. See the bolded part above. I have never heard about it before, but I did a search and it is some form of marijuana I think. Called wax because it looks just like ear wax! Gross.... and it is more powerful and can cause hallucinations!

ETA: GigiG, your post was not there when I started my reply, but that is the same page I searched earlier. Nasty looking stuff!

Pages .... how is Lily doing now?

Weather is fine here. I think we are going to miss out on the bad stuff. You all who are south of me, hope you fare well.

I've always liked Steve Tyler, one of those musicians who came back from the abyss.....

I like this song that he sings: (I don't think he screams)
