Yesterday was a wonderful day. Spellbound and I met at the neatest coffee shop in her home town. Which is so lovely and quaint. We chatted and walked around for a good hour and a half. We never missed a beat sharing our lives and of course the board. It was as if we had known each other forever. She is one lovely Lady inside and out. It was such a pleasure and I look forward to seeing her again and posting here as well. She is an absolute delight!!!!

So glad you both had a great time! Doesn't it feel natural when you actually meet in person? I felt the same way when I was finally able to wrap my arms around KCL after talking to her on the phone for over 2 years. There is definitely a connection we all have made on here. I loved meeting AZ Lawyer and PASA too when I was out in AZ. Lovely, lovely people we are!

It is pouring down rain here, like we need any more rain. I hope all of you are not in harm's way where you live. I saw on GMA about all the flooding and IIRC Spellbound was in peril where she lives. Northern Delaware, near the PA border where I live, is hilly, unlike further south or South Jersey, so flooding is not really a problem like the magnitude some of you are exposed to. Please stay safe.

I will one up you. I have a whole house of junk drawers. If you all weren't in a risky tornado zone, I would be praying for one here in Delaware. I figured I would just open the windows and voila!! Tornadoes are deadly serious, so please don't take offense at my humor....

Absolutely. I was trying to get out to the Arias Trial when time worked for me. Every time I planned to get to Phoenix to visit my Sis they would bounce back to Boulder City Nevada. Grrrrrr LOL Would have loved to have met our AZ board buds.

No problems at all here. A touch of sprinkles through the night, but breezy and comfortable this morning. I think we lucked out and stayed right at the edge of anything nasty. I hope Dmacky fared better. How about your area, Cofee? Is it all over and you managed well?

I had laugh at your post I have more junk drawers than I need! But, then again...I may need something out of one of those junk drawers some day :giggle:

LOL I got some of my best drawer sorting done during the Arias Trial and the C. Anthony Trial. I still have a huge junk drawer that I sorted and organized. To no avail. It still gets dismantled! Hubby has a home office but rarely works in it. Now a catch all room. Upon a cursory look a minute ago. There is a desk with a computer. Wrapping paper, surgical gloves, copious amounts to clean fish, a shredder, fishing rods, kitchen table placemats, food saver vacuum sealer thingy hubby is obsessed with, Fishing lures, a few rods. Kleenex boxes stacked and 8 bottles of gatorade. And much more. It's all good. I think LOL I just keep the door shut.

Dont even ask about the golf room. There are golf clubs-mine and hubbies. Lots of nice golf prints on the walls. A big dog crate for when we have the Grand Doggies and may have to slip out for a bit. More fishing rods. Fishing wear. Duck hunting wear. Duck hunting gun cabinet. A cedar chest hubby cant part with ???? contains nothing. And likely 50 prs of shoes. I keep that door shut too. No ryhme or reason???

My taste in music is far and wide My first love of music is Gospel, then I adore Doo Wop Music, Old Country like Pasty Cline, Kenny Rodgers and so on (not a Dolly fan either) The 60's era is fantastic!! Really like Journey, Duran Duran, Queen, Cher, Abba, The Dog Night, Doobie Brothers...

So sorry folks were offended. Yes to each his own. I am a rock and roller and always have been. I did see Aerosmith Years ago at Pontiac Stadium Mi. Yes he does scream when he hits those notes. I attended many, many concerts in the 70's and 80's and have to say Areosmith was by far the loudest LOL Going to see the Eagles in a coupla weeks. I like them but I dont love them. I soooo wanted to see the Stones who were at Comerica last Wed. I have seen them twice but wanted a third experience before ole Mick stopped touring or dropped since he is 71. Hubby said you luv them I like them but not enough to spend 500.00 plus U.S. exchange. Find a Gal Pal.No luck. So we will see the Eagles sigh.....We saw many concerts thru Music Man Tours in my single days. There was no way any of our Parents would give us their car for a concert. it was great. Expensive but we all had part time jobs when in high school. Yet I luv Michael Buble. Not because he is Canadian but I do luv the crooner tunes. Saw him a few years ago at the Palace in Mi. He puts on an amazing show.

Going to run some errands later today. The kittens need to get there shots, and I've found one place that charges $10 per shot (3 each) and a $5 office call. I'm going to run down to Incredible Pets store, as they have a clinic every Saturday, so will check out their prices. $65 for shots doesn't sound too bad... hopefully, will find something cheaper!!
And than there is a Neuter/Spay place that as discount prices for "us" poor people in the county. Wonder why they don't have discount vaccination shots too?? :waitasec: At least we'll save some $$ on that procedure!

Another sunny day here! :summer: but at least the nights now are down in the high 50s, low 60s! Hate HOT during the night! :tantrum:

Good morning all, though it's almost noon here, :wave: Got out and weeded one of my flower beds this morning and it was already hot. Getting up to the mid or high 90's this week, so the dog days of summer are finally here. Going to go back and read, but wondering how my northern friends are faring in the stormy weather. Hope all is well.

It's a more concentrated form of pot. It's like hash oil, but looks like ear wax and I guess you smoke it in a pipe or just eat it? It's suppose to really mess with your head. Ember's daddy posted online that he was going to start making it.

Well that's all the world needs is for it to be even more concentrated. We have a friend who is a pot smoker, but I don't know if we'll be seeing him anymore. We let him know the last time we saw him that it changes his personality to the point that he is no longer himself ... i.e., makes him mouthy, rude, and very disrespectful, the worst part though was the paranoia. :shakehead: It didn't used to be that bad, he was tolerable before, not paranoid like that. Thus wondering if he got a bad batch, or was it just stronger. But he was smoking it in this weird looking little pipe thingy I had never seen before, so now I'm wondering if it was that stuff you're talking about. :tsktsk:

With the promotion of the "vaping phenom", many of the methods of the DIY's that make their own e-juice, has been adopted by the marijuana "enthusiasts" where they have gone 1 or 2 steps beyond and added a few "tips" from meth labs. They've used the process that some vapors use to naturally extract nicotine from tobacco leaves and added a few dangerous additions that can cause the same combustion as meth labs.
Vapors just use a crock pot.
Waxers use solvents: butane, hexane, isopropyl alcohol, and ethanol.

I dunno about this deal to get mega THC. For patients in extreme pain or discomfort, sure, but for the purpose of full blown decriminalization, the THC levels of good old "skunk weed" would suffice for the casual user.
"It's not the pot your grandpa used to smoke." <----and I did have a grandpa in law, and a FIL that smoked pot like chain smokers, lol! They had their own businesses, supported their families, and were just really wonderful human beings. It was just the culture they brought with them from Mexico, the GIL being exiled there from Spain.

SJ who runs that foul JAII site also ran the CAII site (Casey Anthony :facepalm. SJ is also a well known and 'alleged' internet con artist (see below for information on his other schemes). Death penalty cases tend to attract these loons. However, I won't feel bad for the inmate if it turns out SJ has been scamming her and her misguided supporters (which is highly likely given his reputation). :happydance:

ETA - I noticed GB and Edd Stack (another rabid JAII supporter) posting on the Free Shawna Forde facebook page too. I think the common denominator here is these criminals are all female, relatively young and are considered attractive by some people (mostly crusty old men).
