Hey all!

Watching another great tennis match!! Roger Federer vs Novak Djokovic! GOOOOOO Roger!!!! He's one set down, but coming back in the 2nd set - hopefully!! :happydance:

Niner Sending prayers for you "huz"
Don't give him too much pain medicine, he still has to cook ya know! I don't cook either

I've been meaning to ask you ~
There was a poster during JA's trial named sonny crockett... and didn't you tell him/her that your "huz" once played a cop on Miami Vice? I know it was someone that lived in California, and could have sworn it was you???

Thanks Dmacky and the other kind people for the good thoughts and prayers for my Huz! I truly appreciate it!! :loveyou:

Yes that was me, but no, not Miami Vice, but Don Johnson's other TV show - Nash Bridges! Yes, my Huz played a cop walking thru the grocery store investigating a murder! Also, he was in the remake of Flubber with Robin Williams. My mother also had "bit" parts in movies when she lived in L.A. One I remember was "Soap" with Sally Fields, another was with Treat Williams, can't remember the name...

Love your horses Bernina!! So beautiful! I always wanted a horse.... but it just never happened! maybe in my next life time! :D

and I want that little goat!! Keep telling the Huz if we got a pygmy goat he would eat the grass and he wouldn't have to mow it!! LOL! No goat yet...

YAY!!!!!!! Roger won the second set! I bet daisymae is watching this!!

Very cloudy this morning! But it's supposed to get to 82 today. :summer:

Okay - I shall wander around WS to "see" what's going on in other threads! :pcguru:

Later! :seeya:

Sure it still fits !!! :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

Who remembers GOONIES I love this movie! Can't wait...

Goonies 2 is happening with the entire original cast returning!

The Goonies 2 sequel has been confirmed after scripts and rumors have been floating around Hollywood for many years, we finally have confirmation of a sequel. Here’s the best part… The entire original cast are returning for the sequel.

A script for The Goonies 2 had been written some years ago, which follows a group of new kids, the sons and daughters of the original Goonies, who all go off on an adventure like the one seen in the original movie. Most of the cast, including Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, Corey Feldman, Kerri Green, and Martha Plimpton have expressed an interest in returning in the past few years. For a while, Warner Bros. considered turning the title into a direct-to-video franchise, like they did with Corey Feldman‘s The Lost Boys.

Whilst director of the original The Goonies, Richard Doonor was in the street signing pictures, he had this to say:

Reporter: “Are you making another comic book movie?”

Richard Doonor: “If you call Goonies a comic book movie. We’re doing a sequel.”

Just thought I'd post this if anyone here has followed or is interested in the Darlie Routier case. She's presently on death row for murdering her two young sons back in... 1996 I believe it was. Her case is being featured tonight in the 9 PM (Central Time) episode of "Death Row Stories" on CNN .

I can't seem to get over it for one single day! She followed me everywhere, and even laid on my feet while I was on the computer. She loved to go with me in the car and she sat up in the seat next to me, and would give me the "Stink eye" until I opened her window.
I did ok yesterday off and on, then I found her toy chicken behind my loveseat and had another complete meltdown. This house is so empty without her :frown:
My cousin came and got me and I spent 5 nights with her, and she kept me busy with little daily "adventures," and it helped SOME to get away.

:crying:

:therethere:

We can't take away your pain, but we can walk with you in it.

When you become a guardian of an animal, it comes with the understanding that they don't live as long as we do- although this understanding doesn't make it any easier when the time comes that they must leave us, IMO. So- do we stop having animals in our lives so we are spared the pain or do we enjoy their love of us, for however long, in spite of the pain to come when they are gone? I opted for the later in my life and I wouldn't wish that I never had my little lovelies throughout my life, even with the pain, and I take great comfort in that acknowledgement.

Take heart, my dear Dmacky :heartbeat:, and cry here when you need to. We will listen and cry with you-we've all been there sometime in our lives when we have lost our pets.

This is my favorite version of "She Bangs"
Can you believe William Hung has had NO professional training at all? :floorlaugh:

Last week I posted a video by TobyMac in a pawn shop, and when Kirk Franklin is singing "Tell me what's your title,
America has no more stars, now we call them idols," and pionts back at a woman. That is Mandisa, she was also an American Idol contestant. Simon made fun of her being fat.

I can't recall who posted here earlier about her book, but here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/The-Life-Changing-Magic-Tidying-Decluttering/dp/1607747308 I haven't actually read the book, just tips taken from it from miscellaneous articles and websites. I should probably order the book, maybe it would help me out a little, heaven knows I need all the help I can get, lol. This stuff is just monotonous and overwhelming to me. Have only gotten through one drawer and am ready to quit. :sheesh:
I am reading the book and her philosophy makes a lot of sense. Her approach to tidying is to begin discarding first before even thinking about tidying.

Niner, so glad your DH is back home. Sometimes when adults with a cardiac history complain of back pain, the docs will rule out an abdominal aortic aneurism. They should have given him Morphine maybe to help with the pain, but the "don't want to mask symptoms" rule may have taken precedence.

Thank you for all the patience, YorN ! :skip:I have to tell you though, I was in :panic: mode for several long minutes ( I know, patience...patience... ) I didn't log myself out, but I somehow got logged out. Then I couldn't get logged back in for like five minutes, it was like being in exile, or alone in the :desert: Only with air conditioning. :giggle:

I did go ahead and order the book, hoping it will help me out a little. I do love getting rid of things though, I'm strange that way, lol. Thanks, Zuri !

I find that I get so involved in watching you tube or reading an article that I even forgot I'm logged in here! LOL

Before I got a divorce, I was very much into material things. But that experience made me realize that all I really cared about was my kids. It was a humbling yet enlightening experience. Stuff is just a distraction to what's really important: the people you love. Ever since then it's been a lot easier to let go of things. :)

About Mr. Hung , 1) learn to speak English or sing in your language. Remember
(is it) Myoshi Umeki she sang in Japanese , her singing was beautiful. I give him an a+
for guts! My husband had a "thing " for her! was I jealous? yah he spent 6 weeks in Japan.
(he was only 23 yrs.)..

All the pups I've been around throughout my life should have been goners.........

This is what I fed my Samoyds: http://www.avodermnatural.com/About/why_avocados.htm
All of my wuffs love grapes, they don't get them by the bunch, but they'd inhale them if they could! :floorlaugh:

Same here! :floorlaugh: When the litter Huck was part of were teething, we fed 'em frozen green grapes. Mushy avocados might make dogs GAG and then puke...? Dunno. Never fed my dogs those. But most of this is a case of moderation and/or common sense.
