OMG!!! I may be batting 2/2! Even though I still feel a little migrainy, I decided to try to match possibilities for Ilene Misheloff, my other pet case. I think I found a sketch that looks even closer to her than the one of Mark! It would mean she was kept alive for a year and taken to So. Cal, then hit by a car, but... stranger things have happened. I'm not sure if I can attach word files to here, so if not please look at Namus case #7672, and tell me what you think!

If not, it seems an uncanny resemblance, Linas.

I need some help in finding info on one of my nephews. Like his criminal records and history. I'very seen places that give you unlimited access for the days, but didn't know if theY were rip offs. What can be done for free?

Sounds just like our town -- except we have no hills, and have to drive 25 minutes to get to Walmart. And we have FIVE gas stations! I think I would like to visit Indiana. And three bars, and too many pizza places.

Come on and I will personally escort you and show you all the neat little places that aren't listed anywhere :) Will give you a personal HOOSIER HOSPITALITY!!

Thanks, Tulessa thinks so too. Glad I'm not alone- DH & DD sometimes are skeptical.

LOL give me time so I can Google all the interesting facts about Indiana. I can tell you more about the area I'm from without looking it up ;) For instance ; just a mile from my tiny little town we still have the original part of the Wabash Erie Canal! The block brick house that the workers used is still standing and the path the horses and men used to pull the barges down the canal. I will go and take a pic of it and post it. My town is founded by the Spanish.

Oh the memories that I have from the canal. In the winter we all ice skated on it and summer we would swing on grape vines and drop into the water...good times :) I have some very old pictures of the town as it was years ago, will look them up and post :) The town is/was a mining town and my grandpa was one of those miners who 'owed his soul to the country store' and fought for the miners union. He died from black lung at 69. I can remember him coming home all black and his miners hat with his 'lamp' on top, taking about crawling on his hands and knees in the mine shaft. He survived numerous cave ins.

coffee, all your descriptions sound exactly like our kind of trip. I told DH I world like to go to Indiana and he said he would, too! Won't be this year, but we could be coming at some point. Covered wagons, Canals, countryside, hills.... and junk stores. what more could I ask for, other than a chance to meet another WS buddy.

Limus, I am sorry to say I don't see the close resemblance to Mark.... That is his pic in your avatar, right? Could he have lost considerable weight?

I don't know, Pages. From what I read recently, they usually give information that we can find online ourselves. I am skeptical about those sites.

Have you seen this page? It gives good tips on finding criminal records: https://www.peoplesmart.com/criminal-records

Try doing a search for "how to find criminal records". Maybe you can get what you want from that. Good luck. This one seems to have good suggestions: http://m.wikihow.com/Find-a-Criminal-Record

When we get up your way...we must take a day and met up and when your in my state let me know and we will meet up! Maybe Dmacky could drive up from Louisville and met us also? She knows some of the areas in Indiana and I am not that far from the areas she knows. Easy road trip for her or me.

I never thought of Indiana in coal mining. More as corn fields, the indy 500 and David Letterman.

Coal mines are scattered throughout Indiana. Mines shafts runs for miles and miles under our properties and there is 3 under ground mines in operation within 15 mile radius and 2 above ground mines. Mining is big in this part of Indiana.

This made me laugh! How do I nominate this for "Post of the Day?"

Not to condemn or condone them, but I have a friend who found his long-lost daughter (from a relationship gone bad) through one of those sites. I think it cost him $10.
