Joanna Madonna---------------> loca en la cabeza :scared:
Yep, just a different type of #281128.

I think she shot him in the face in the Jeep, his left side, the denture piece and the bullet in the Jeep, the gun in her right hand.
One really creepy self absorbed woman who gives DV, self defense, and AA a bad name.

Niner's here ... what's the news? Been waiting all day!

Hey Zuri!! Good to see you posting here! No patience here either... take care!

Niner's here ... what's the news? Been waiting all day!

Boy you're quick!

Well, according to the Russian doctor lady, she believes his bone marrow is not producing enough red blood cells. She is ruling out leukemia. So he is/will get another 2 units of blood transfusion something today. Talked to Huz about an hour ago and it hadn't started yet. And than he can come home tomorrow, she says. She will ask for home-provider to come in 2 times a week, to check Huz' condition, I guess. No, I take that back, a physical therapist will be coming in, as the Huz has trouble, at least right now, in moving around. How he'll be tomorrow after all the blood transfusions might be different. Give him his energy back maybe! I'm hoping so!
And than I guess we wait and see what the other blood tests have to say. I actually like this Russian doctor now, as she is the ONLY one who has done anything to help my Huz! But she's very plain spoken, as in telling me when I first brought him to ER that it didn't look good for him...

So, ready to sign off for the night! Will be back tomorrow to give another update on the Huz!

:seeya:

Thanks, Niner .... check in with us later tonight if there are any changes. :loveyou:

Excellent prosecution's closing in the Madonna case:

I know, right? She did a masterful job. And here I was saying she/they were no Juan Martinez. Eating my words. She drove that thing home as if there were no other cars on the highway.

She even did the thing about circumstantial evidence better than he did (IMO).

Her summation said it all, in a way that was easy to digest, and almost impossible to refute. No wonder the jury came back so quickly. What was there to debate?

Hi Everybody. I am so far behind and. I just wanted you all to know I was thinking of you. I have been sleeping on and off for the last week and I am too exhausted to add much to any conversation.

I am so sorry about Niner's husband. Hope the transfusions work and give him the needed oxygen and replacement whatever he needs.

Nore, I think of you often and I interpreted your dream as your son has moved on, he is in a good place and is at peace and wants the same for you. Not easy on this earthly side.

I can't even begin to express my gratitude for the love and prayers and major JINGLES you all sent my way. The recovery process will be long and arduous, but it consists of goals that are attainable with life lessons in the middle of it. I am working on PATIENCE. Patience is not my strong suit, nor virtue or a word prominent in my vernacular. Everything I wanted done yesterday is not going to happen, did not happen, does not have the same meaning to others. Expecting others to step up is an exercise in futility, so I am just going to heal. The mess will be there when I wake up.

I hope you all are doing well. You are in my thoughts and much love sent to all of you. Xo

good attitude and hope you're running around soon!

Has anyone seen YesorNo in the last week? I think I saw her for a little bit one night thanking post but not posting. Just wondering about her.

I received a text from my daughter this morning and this is what showed up...
"Charlie Kat may not think living on the west side is cool, but Leroy is digging it (yes, we moved the spider too)".

She and her hubby moved to a new house over the weekend and her DH took that dang 'thing' with them! ugh! Now I'm wondering just how he moved it!? I texted her and asked and waiting for her reply.

Her reply: Put him in a plastic container and then released him.

Those particular spiders have really made an appearance all over the country this year! We have one here at this house and another one over at our other place. I wonder if they're solitary critters with their own territory?

I think I found your daughter's spider. Black-and-yellow argiope. It is a good guy who is always searching for his female companion, then they build a web together, have a few babies and he moves on. They can bite, but is nothing worse than a bee sting, and eat many insects including mosquitoes.

So, she "found God". Why couldn't she have found Him before? Seems that a lot of inmates "find God" when they are in prison and not before. :(

Murder Conviction Overturned for Mario Casciaro, Illinois Man Convicted of Killing Missing Teen

"The murder conviction of Mario Casciaro, an Illinois man who was sentenced to 26 years in prison for the death of a missing teen, has been overturned by the state’s appeals court.

A panel of judges with the Second District Appellate Court of Illinois ruled Thursday that prosecutors provided insufficient evidence to prove that Cascairo, now 32, had murdered 17-year-old Brian Carrick, saying "the evidence against defendant was so lacking and so improbable that 'it is simply unreasonable to sustain the finding of guilt beyond a reasonable doubt,'" and reversed the conviction..."

Appeals court halts Oklahoma man’s execution amid new doubts over guilt

"State court of criminal appeals grants Richard Glossip’s attorneys two weeks to explore new evidence in 1997 beating death of his boss, hours before execution...

An appeals court agreed to halt the execution of an Oklahoma man with just hours to spare Wednesday after his attorneys asked for time to review new evidence, including a fellow inmate’s claim that he overheard the other man convicted in the case admit he acted alone.

Richard Eugene Glossip was twice convicted of ordering the killing in 1997 of Barry Van Treese, who owned the Oklahoma City motel where he worked. His co-worker, Justin Sneed, was convicted of fatally beating Van Treese and was a key prosecution witness in Glossip’s trials..."

Prison officials: Green River killer to return to Washington

The U.S. has six executions scheduled over the next nine days

"During his visit to the United States last week, Pope Francis used an address before Congress — one of the most high-profile platforms from which the pope could speak to this country and its leaders — to call for an end to the death penalty. In the two weeks following the pope’s remarks, five states plan to execute six death-row inmates, a burst of lethal activity the country has not seen in more than two years.

The executions scheduled over the next nine days seem to offer a microcosm of the death penalty as it currently exists in the United States. These cases touch on a wide range of the issues that surround capital punishment, including lethal injection drugs, mental health and possible racial biases. They are also a reminder that while executions are occurring less frequently than they have in two decades and do not take place in much of the country, a handful of states remain bastions of the death penalty...

Three inmates are set to be executed this week and three are set to be executed next week. Here are glimpses of each case:.."
