Twitter Plans to Go Beyond Its 140-Character Limit

"...The 140-character limit has been one of Twitter’s trademark features since day one. It has long been scrutinized by those outside the company, and many have argued over the years that Twitter should expand it. It has also been a topic of discussion internally at Twitter for years, according to multiple sources, and has resurfaced in recent months under interim CEO Jack Dorsey as the company has been exploring new ways to grow its user base...."

I received a text from my daughter this morning and this is what showed up...
"Charlie Kat may not think living on the west side is cool, but Leroy is digging it (yes, we moved the spider too)".

She and her hubby moved to a new house over the weekend and her DH took that dang 'thing' with them! ugh! Now I'm wondering just how he moved it!? I texted her and asked and waiting for her reply.

Her reply: Put him in a plastic container and then released him.

What a beautiful spider :)

Hey Zuri!! Good to see you posting here! No patience here either... take care!

Boy you're quick!

Well, according to the Russian doctor lady, she believes his bone marrow is not producing enough red blood cells. She is ruling out leukemia. So he is/will get another 2 units of blood transfusion something today. Talked to Huz about an hour ago and it hadn't started yet. And than he can come home tomorrow, she says. She will ask for home-provider to come in 2 times a week, to check Huz' condition, I guess. No, I take that back, a physical therapist will be coming in, as the Huz has trouble, at least right now, in moving around. How he'll be tomorrow after all the blood transfusions might be different. Give him his energy back maybe! I'm hoping so!
And than I guess we wait and see what the other blood tests have to say. I actually like this Russian doctor now, as she is the ONLY one who has done anything to help my Huz! But she's very plain spoken, as in telling me when I first brought him to ER that it didn't look good for him...

So, ready to sign off for the night! Will be back tomorrow to give another update on the Huz!

:seeya:

Sounds like that Russian MD is solving your DH's mysterious sickness, but I can't understand why the others couldn't???
I was anemic when I was around 12 yrs old and it wasn't a good thing. The MD came everyday to my house and gave me B12 shots for a long time. :(
Here is something on anemia and how it's treated to read: (sounds like the symptoms your DH has)

Anemia

"Anemia is the most common blood disorder, and according to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, it affects more than 3 million Americans...

When you have anemia, your body lacks oxygen, so you may experience one or more of the following symptoms:

Weakness
Shortness of breath
Dizziness
Fast or irregular heartbeat
Pounding or "whooshing" in your ears
Headache
Cold hands or feet
Pale or yellow skin
Chest pain..."

Hope that whatever kind of anemia your DH has can be fixed real soon.

Morning!

Yep - those are most of his symptoms! Yes, I too like this Russian doctor - at least she is DOING something about it!! Also, his hematologist called last night - yes - at night!! He wanted to check up on Huz, but I told him he was still in the hospital, and they planned on giving him another 2 units. He said he would do the out-patient bone marrow for him. He'll be calling back this afternoon to talk with the Huz, as he is SUPPOSED to come home today! :happydance: I've really missed him not being here!! Also, they gave him a Lasix drip last night, and all his swollen legs and hand are now normal!! another :happydance:

The U.S. has six executions scheduled over the next nine days
Inmates at California Prison Ask Guards to Keep Quiet

'California corrections officials said Thursday that they are handing out earplugs and telling guards to walk softly around some of the state's most dangerous prisoners after the inmates complained about noise.

The inmates say new welfare checks at Pelican Bay State Prison's notorious security housing unit are keeping them up nights because noise caused by guards rouses them every half-hour around the clock..."

poor babies! Make as much noise as possible - I have no sympathy.... I wish California would hurry up and start their executions... sorry, but I'm for the death penalty. I believe murderers should die as their victims did...

okay... enough! :D

Nice to "see" you posting again YESorNO!! :happydance: Missed you on here!

Off to read some other threads... where is everyone reading these days?? :pcguru: I've been checking in on DeOrr Kunz, Jr.'s thread... but nothing has been happening, and the baby is still missing...

Okay - just read that article you posted above, YESorNO. It sounds like the Huz "might" have Aplastic anaemia, OR problem with his kidneys - where it supposed to "signal" bone marrow to produce red blood cells. We shall see. I'll find out what his hemoglobin is today, and see if it's below 13.5 gm/dl - whatever those initials mean!?! LOL!

Thanks for the article, sent it to the Huz thru email, yes, that's how I show him stuff I find on the internet instead of unplugging my laptop and going into his man cave to show him!

It's good to laugh! See you all later!

I think I found your daughter's spider. Black-and-yellow argiope. It is a good guy who is always searching for his female companion, then they build a web together, have a few babies and he moves on. They can bite, but is nothing worse than a bee sting, and eat many insects including mosquitoes.
http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/...neficial-24_spider_blackandyellow_argiope.htm

As a kid they would build their nest in grandpa's corn rows and their web was so big it would span from one corn row to the next! We called them 'corn spiders'.

One day my cousins and I were running in the corn rows and I ran into one of the big webs, stood there, ran in place screaming my head off!! LOL Hated them ever since!

Good see you back Y/N :) :) :)

and Niner, hope your hubby feels better today and the finally find what the problem is. :) Tell him I said get well and stay well...prayer and jingles for him and you.

Those particular spiders have really made an appearance all over the country this year! We have one here at this house and another one over at our other place. I wonder if they're solitary critters with their own territory?

it's an Orb Weaver, and my great nephew (a pest guy) said there are a lot this year here in Texas.

Niner - that is wonderful news! Now be sure to let him rest when he gets home before you jump his bones. :loveyou:

Madonna couldn't tell Jose to leave the house, it was his VA loan. The only way she could keep that house is his death.
She seem to live from financial windfall to windfall. It all started with the sale of her dad's home. Using other people's money.
I also think she faked FB messages.
With all the "therapy" she had, doesn't seem like much of it stuck.
From her 2nd husband on, she always had another guy in her back pocket ready to move in.
She talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk.
I don't believe Jose ever broke his sobriety.
I don't believe he was having financial difficulties that were his doing.
I don't believe he ever had an affair, his medications more than likely precluded that.
Very similar to #281129.
If Jose signed his benefits over to her when they got married, she would have been set up for the rest of her life, there is no 5 year minimum marriage requirement. I know, BF is in the VA system.

Do they have the death penalty in S. Carolina or where ever this took place?

Hmm, I'm actually watching her testimony and I watched parts of this trial before she testified.
(un)Fortunately, GigiG, you cut off the result (I would have spent too much time with that stuff, so: thank you ;)) so I can't pretend being objective.
But: this women seems to me sooooo egocentric, behaving in a quite arrogant way and her facial expression seems quite eloquent to me. She couldn't free herself of this ill and rather peacefull man???? What a joke! Still, I will continue to watch her being x-ed. It's somehow fascinating the stragedies a human person can develop when thex're not wanting to assume responsability.
Well, this are so sad stories....

Hi spellie. Time for Jeopardy and try to get rid of a bad headache.

what's up, Gigi? You look lonesome all by yourself.

I didn't know I was by myself. :(

I leave the page open and check in now and then, so maybe it looked like I was here? In reality, I was getting some much needed sustenance!
