The Pictures You Choose Will Reveal A Deep Truth About Yourself

You got: You’re never wholly comfortable around people
While you do enjoy socializing, you never feel completely comfortable around people, unless they are the very few people in the world you are extremely close with. When you are around them you can truly be yourself, but otherwise you tend to feel at least a little self-conscious, and are always aware of trying to make a good impression and not wanting to let yourself down. You’re at your best when you’re hanging out in just a small group with your closest friends, and would always choose that over a big party or event where you have to meet new people.

I'm slightly more southern than you are, though I certainly don't like pecan pie either (way too sweet for me). And pickle juice on popcorn? WTH? But we do like to put apple cider vinegar on the french fries we get at the MD and DE beaches, which probably sounds just as weird...

You checked 11 out of 72 on this list!
Sorry Yankee — looks like you’ve gotta get yourself to Dixie land and try some REAL pecan pie! You need a little southern comfort in your life!

BBM I remember malt vinegar on fries in Cape Cod and when we went to the Jersey shore- boardwalk fries- that are sold at beach areas of NJ, so I don't think it's weird to put vinegar on fries.

Everything you would want to know (or not ) about vinegar and fried potatoes:

Vinegar

"...Vinegar intensifies the flavour of foods without dominating their natural goodness and taste sensations..."

http://reinhartfoods.com/vinegar-info-2/#vin-history
--

French fries

"...French fries are served hot, either soft or crispy, and generally eaten as part of lunch or dinner, or on their own as a snack, and they commonly appear on the menus of fast food restaurants. French fries are generally salted and are often served with ketchup; in many countries they are topped instead with other condiments or toppings, including vinegar, mayonnaise, or other local specialties...

It is claimed that fries originated in Belgium, and that the ongoing dispute between the French and Belgians about where they were invented is highly contentious, with both countries claiming ownership...

Accompaniments

Fries tend to be served with a variety of accompaniments, such as salt and vinegar (malt, balsamic or white), pepper, grated cheese, melted cheese, mushy peas, heated curry sauce, curry ketchup (mildly spiced mix of the former), hot sauce, relish, mustard, mayonnaise, bearnaise sauce, tartar sauce, chili, tzatziki, feta cheese, garlic sauce, fry sauce, butter, sour cream, ranch dressing, barbecue sauce, gravy, honey, aioli, brown sauce, ketchup, lemon juice, piccalilli, pickled cucumber, pickled gherkins, pickled onions or pickled eggs.."

----------------------------------------

There seems to be no documentation of when chips and vinegar were first combined, but it was likely very soon after the chip was invented, since vinegar and salt were widely used as a condiment/seasoning long before then. Whether the first use of vinegar on chips was alone or from a pickled egg jar, we will likely never know. But, however, that the main users of vinegar on chips (Britain) often use malt vinegar, which would not have been used to pickle eggs. Also, eggs are pickled in brine (salt water) with added vinegar, sugar, and other ingredients.

But read this about the use of Non-brewed condiment: (used to cater to Temperance types who wanted nothing to do with the alcoholic sources of genuine vinegar)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-brewed_condiment
--

"(British) a cheap alternative to malt vinegar made from industrial acetic acid flavoured with caramel; found especially in fish and chips shops"

http://www.allwords.com/word-non+brewed+condiment.html
---------------------------------------

Could be that it became easier to use malt vinegar instead of home-made non-brewed condiment??

And here is a recipe for boardwalk french fries from Maryland that uses vinegar: (just in case you wanted one )

It's probably right:

[h=2]You got: You’re very prone to overthinking things[/h]Whether it’s big, important decisions, or small, fairly meaningless occurrences, you have a tendency to overthink everything and read much more into things than what is actually there. On the odd occasion this actually pays off, and it turns out you were right to overanalyse, but most of the time it causes you undue stress, and you need a friend to tell you to calm down and take a step back.

Italian wife faces jail for 'not doing housework'

"An Italian woman faces six years in jail after her husband accused her of not doing enough cooking and cleaning at home.

Her husband made a formal complaint to the paramilitary Carabinieri police, saying that his wife was slovenly, failed to put meals on the table and left their home in a dreadful mess.

So... what's wrong with the husband that he can't help her with cleaning?? I'd probably be in jail too! :laughcry:

One of the reasons for the long delays on Death Row is an intentionally created, multistep legal process designed to make sure all necessary precautions are taken when the ultimate punishment is at stake. Add in delays based on DNA evidence and diminished mental capacity, plus challenges to the lethal injection process and years accumulate on Death Row...

What is wrong with using the lethal injection that Texas uses??? I don't understand... I'm going to vote to expedite death sentences here in California - didn't know that was going to be on the ballot this year.

I remember when my job - all in one department - was going to be moved to Austin, Texas - I didn't want to move... so got laid off... :gaah: this is regarding the story on the United Technologies jobs moving to Mexico.

Your story on store bought eggs - I buy mine from a local rancher... I KNOW they are fresh! :happydance:

Same as you YESorNO! :cheer:

When I eat fish and chips - I'll put the malt-vinegar on my fries... :D And the Huz ONLY makes home-fries... I made some the other day! :)

Clancy is one friend and Chris is other. Tinesha(hope that is spelt ok) is still a upset over Travis.

I watched some of the Westminster Dog Show last night. There are some beautiful dogs there. However, those with that long silky hair that flows as they prance would need a lot of No More Tangles if they lived in my home. Nice distraction from all the horrible programming on TV these days.

My Maltese, Max, had very long hair. We always had the groomer give him a "puppy cut". I had no time to do fancy grooming.

Bet he was a cutie, Y/N. I actually have never seen a Maltese with long hair.

Ok felon in trouble--not allowed visitors for 180 days for calling officer vulgar name when she couldn't get her haircut.... on kindle don't know how to link -- but in trending news.

He was beautiful- a nightmare to groom tho' (I didn't know anything about a Maltese dog and didn't know about the long hair):

This is what he looked like when we first got him:
