I thought for sure I would miss something while my car had died in a no parking zone!!

But, apparently I got back in time....

And I had three gorgeous men open my hood and recharge my battery too!!:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

As always...Justice for Travis...

Come on bell....time to ring-a-ding ding!

It took 3 men to get your battery charged?? Hmmm...............

Thank you so much. I'm still terrible about knowing how to navigate this site. The last one I was on said something like "Cleaning here - move over", so I didn't think it was still open.

I'm sure hoping this is over today for the sake of the Alexanders.

I hope the bailiff/office is thoroughly embarrased after seeing that everyone is now talking about it. I know it's not his fault and in his job basically he has to deal with criminals all day every day so he can't just be serious ALL THE TIME...but what got me was that it clearly looked like he was falling for her act!!!!

DH and I saw that clip several times last night, and I had been watching Jodi's antics with the bailiff earlier in the day. With her perky pony tail, grinning ear to ear, gesticulating wildly, and batting her eyes at him, Jodi was clearly and opening flirting with a court officer. She has no shame! Geez! She's awaiting sentencing after being convicted of murder, and she's chatting and laughing like a giddy schoolgirl. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Juan more time:

(Juan) singular sensation, every little step (he) takes
(Juan) thrilling combination, every move that (he) makes
(Juan) smile and suddenly nobody else will do
You know you'll never be lonely with you know who.

(Juan) moment in (his) presence, and you can forget the rest
For the (guy) is second best to none, son
Oooh! Sigh! Give (him) your attention
Do I really have to mention (he's) the (Juan).

(He) walks into a room and you know (he's)
uncommonly rare, very unique,
peritpatetic, poetic, and chic
(He) walks into a room and you know from (his)
maddening poise, effortless whirl
(He's) a special guy, strolling

Can't help all of (his) qualities extolling
Loaded with charisma
Jauntily, sauntering, ambling, shambler
(Juan) and you know you must
Shuffle along, join the parade
(He's) the quintessential of making the grade
This is whatcha call trav'ling.

Oh, strut your stuff!
Can't get enough!
Ooh! Sigh. Give (him) your attention
Do I really have to mention
He's the (Juan)!

The good news is after her life is over it'll be up to God to decide. And if he believes shes' been wronged on earth and she's redeemable he will hook her RIGHT up with heaven, so either way she won't slip through the cracks ;)

except ... well ... I am an athiest .... soooo. I just want to her to get her just punishment here on earth (DP) ... just to be sure

Ugh, listening to HLN. I like Mike Galanos, but he keeps taking calls from people who are wheezing, gasping for air and cannot seem to breathe. Sounds like these peeps are on death's door! It's disturbing...had to put it on mute.

I didn't know who you were talking about, as I only came into this trial after seeing that the defendant was crazy enough to testify, but you're right, he's a hoot! Maybe you saw this:

"Arias trial: Is Searcy stealing the spotlight?"

Thank you so much for this video, Jane, Vinnie is hysterical!

I don't watch HLN, but if anyone has any more funny clips they've stashed away, I sure would appreciate seeing some distracting humorous bits while we wait.

Speaking of flirting, I could envision JA flirting with the guards/warden and doing them "favors" in return for privileges. I could see her being a "favored" inmate, kind of like Andy Dufresne in "The Shawshank Redemption." Except, of course, Andy was innocent of the crime for which he was convicted.

And it wouldn't surprise me if she someday attempted an escape.

Anyone know why juror questions for the judge are read in open court?

What the harm would be escapes me

Probably just to keep the media from exploding and speculationg and overall mis-reporting...
:cow:
Anyone know why juror questions for the judge are not made public?

What the harm would be escapes me

I have a very dirty mind.....

Saving my seat... today will we get a sentence of death for my thirty ninth wedding anniversary?

My prayers are with the Alexanders today...and they are with this jury to do the right thing for the horrendous things Jodi's done to Travis and his family... if this doesn't cry out for justice I don't know what would...

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Anniversary.

Hey mods and/or admins. Can we have the subtitle of the trial title changed to read
"Jodi Arias is convicted of shooting her ex-boyfriend in the face, stabbing him multiple times and slitting his throat from ear to ear. Her attorneys attempted to argue self defense"?
Pretty please? :)

'Bout 8ish tonight. Bring wine. :seeya:

Hmmmm, never had to pair a wine with venison before. It would most likely be a red. I'm guessing something hearty like a SB or nice bottle of chiante (Llyod from Dumb and Dumber voice).

That's the truth! The Winters here in north-central Florida can be surprisingly cold (even occasional dustings of snow!), and by March you're thinking: "WHEN will this be over??" And then we get our too-brief taste of Spring (mild temps, low humidity) and then it's Summer....months and months and months of Summer. Heat and humidity and hurricanes and tropical storms and tornadoes and lightning storms (Fun fact: Florida is the lightning strike capital of America!) and love bugs and mosquitoes and killer pythons and giant African snails and sink holes and - worse! - Casey Anthony!

Hoo boy, you gotta be made of tough stuff to withstand this semi-tropical paradise!

:)

Oregon has two seasons...wet and dry. Every 2 or 3 years, we get snow. It doesn't last long but it's so pretty when we get it. Summer's here average about 85 maybe during the day. We'll have a spell of 95+, but that blows because a lot of us don't have A/C. I couldn't do the heat and humidity, not mention the other vile things you mentioned, especially Casey Anthony. This year we're too dry, so this little rain spell is welcomed by all but a few of us gardeners. But as soon as we approach 80, the weather service will put out their little warning about getting drunk and swimming in our rivers...which are melting snow and snow and colder than a well diggers butt. So far today, it's 54 degrees and I've spent most of the day under the electric blanket :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: Why? Because I can.... :floorlaugh:
