I've had such a headache from reading with allergy eyes... I fell asleep, when I woke up I saw the last post. Now I'm all:scared:, I don't think I posted anything bad but feel so guilty for some of my own thoughts... I said some funny things about nurmi.....but I always do:seeya:

I still have not seen the foreperson interview, I'm just not ready yet, I'm on hln ban for a while too!

Any good plans for the weekend? i.e. Please distract me with happy thoughts...:floorlaugh:

Don't watch it! I did, big mistake for me tonight. Watch it when you are in a very peaceful state.

I also had some issue with the Foreman saying that Jodi did a "terrible" thing, but does that mean we kill her? Argh. It was not a "terrible" thing LIKE A BAD HAIRCUT or something. This was terrible, as in TERRIBLE, HORRIFIC, CRUEL, BRUTAl, etc.. He sounded just like CMJA!

His AZCentral interviews were much better. I just find his sympathy towards the Alexander family as just sounding kind of fake-sounding. But that could be just b/c he was trying to just look at the facts and not factor in emotions, so I understand that part. But now he is off the case, so he can now factor in emotions. I don't know, maybe CMJA has just forever made us all question everyone's authenticity now. I Feel myself questioning people's facial expressions and tone of voice, this is all due to CMJA. She has forever scarred us all and our trust in people.

The Chat Room is really hoppin', folks. Beware -- no rules in there...

Oh r we not allowed to talk about you-know-who? We can still discuss his interviews, right?

You can discuss the foreman...CIVILLY.

Absolutely no sleuthing and no bashing of the man or any of the jurors. Feel free to disagree with his opinions. As long as you guys can express yourselves in a civil, calm, intellectual manner the discussion is fine.

However, the bashing of this man and lynch mob mentality of this jury's non-agreement is totally disrepectful and completely out of hand. It will not be permitted.

:seeya:

What happened to the verdict thread ... I took a nice long nap and poof ... :scared:

I see the foreman has been running his mouth some more and good -- the more he talks the more we learn and the more that can be analyzed ...

:moo:

god...I don't know....but I am willing to be conservative tonight. It will shake out by tomorrow I suppose, and then we will be given the line...not to cross.

But with his media tour, I think he has made himself part of Jodi's "play".

Inside Edition....really?

Movies:

The Life of Pi

that latest Tom Cruise one at Redbox wasn't bad (some guys name)

Lincoln!! Great movie.

Life of Pi....NOooooo! I would not recommend that at this time of sadness for us all. That will just put someone in a sadder mood, don't you think?

Oh I know...to me it just seems like he just fits right into the defense's circus...like Jodi, Nurmi, ALV, Samuels, now this guy...they all just seem like they would go out to dinner together.

I don't really lump JW with them, she seems a little different, maybe more sophisticated?

But why is he talking for the whole jury? I don't think he represent the jury at large at all? Where are the more reasonable voices on that jury? I can't wait until they speak up....they are probably just watching his whole circus show today...

I am a dedicated Agatha Christie fan. Started reading her 40 years ago. I still watch Masterpiece Mystery when they present her films, which they do often. The Miss Marple and Poirot characters are wonderful, as are the intricate who donnit plots. Excellent.

Me too! I can read her books over and over again. Have any new Poirots or Marples shown up yet? I know that "Curtain" is supposed to air but don't know when. Sad to say, I haven't paid attention to any TV except for this trial!

The last two I saw a couple of years ago were "Hallowe'en Party" and "Pocketful of Rye" - both excellent!

I know this is sidebar, but since the other thread is under review, I am going to have to unload my thoughts onto this one:

<snipped for subject matter>

To clarify what the Sidebar is -

It is intended for case related discussion, so don't apologize for talking about the case! One night I came in here and saw nothing but music videos and what not. We're pretty lax about topical discussion here and it is okay to veer off topic, BUT...

There will be more no more "Trial threads" until July when court resumes. A trial thread is meant to follow that day's happenings in court. Court will be dark until July, so this is it folks. Except for topical threads. Feel free to generate a topical thread if there is something in particular you are interested in discussing. Be aware that all new threads in this forum have to be approved before they are opened. That is to ensure that we don't have parallel threads discussing the same topic.

JODI'S FATE AT PERRYSVILLE BY FORMER DEPUTY WARDEN

I was just reading on Travis's facebook page. I came across a video by a former deputy warden, Carl ToersBijns, from the Arizona Dept. of Corrections. The video is entitled, "Jodi Arias ~ Rose Colored Glasses".

https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...&v=YJTBLd-72fg

He discusses JA's fate at Perryville and the truth behind her grand plans for prison. I can honestly say I'm nauseous after watching this. JA's life will be no different at Perryville whether she gets Life or Death. From what I heard on this video, JA should be pleading for the death penalty to avoid what awaits the remaining days of her life.

On a happier note, I'm off to Negril, Jamaica Wednesday. I'm so excited and can't wait. Work has been insane for months now and I have lot's of other stuff going on so I can really use this week to just veg. I have lot's to do before I go, but I'm counting my sleeps, it's 5 more sleeps :)

Jamaica ... oooohh! Hope you plan on leaving your laptop on your hall table and spend every free moment soaking up the sun, drinking fab drinks brought to you by lovely cabana boys and eating delicious local fare.

*jealous*

:seeya: I agree ! It is extremely obvious that this foreman 'fell' for the convicted murderer, and that is despicable ...

He made his decision based on his emotions and NOT the facts !

IF he could not vote for the DP, then he NEVER should have been allowed on that jury !
